Powered by the brand's patented Bond Building Technology and Broad-Spectrum Clarifying System, this cleanser removes damaging impurities (AKA excess oil, product build-up, chlorine, hard water minerals, heavy metals and pollutants) from the surface of the hair without stripping or drying. Dispense desired amount of product into hands and emulsify. Apply to wet hair, focusing on the scalp and working through to ends. Lather fully and leave on for up to five minutes. Rinse.

Love olaplex products and have tried this once. It was great. Cleaned my hair really well, not sure i would buy at full price though.

Hair feels clean
My hair definitely feels cleaner after using this, but you really do need to use it twice, as like the normal Olaplex shampoo it is quite a heavy formula. But overall I would recommend and will continue to use when my hair needs a good clean!

I use a clarifying shampoo about once a week to get the buildup of product and hardwater deposits off my hair. I usually use Living Proof's, but I've tried Olaplex products before (with good results) and had specifically heard how great this is, so I gave it a go. Unfortunately, it's WAY too harsh for my hair and leaves my curls brittle and straw-like. I've been trying to at least use it up but even with deep conditioning afterward it's just too much so I'm going to have to bin it.

Great for oily hair!! I’ve used the original formula of the olaplex shampoo for multiple years now and I think this on par or better. It doesn’t lather quite as well as the original however but the smell is great!

This really cleans my hair
This shampoo does a lot of good for my hair. I have medium-thick wavy hair and I love volume so need a shampoo that can really cleanse my hair. This creates an amazing lather but doesn't feel squeaky or strip my hair. I always shampoo twice so I like to use this as my first cleanse and then use something a bit more hydrating afterwards.
