This silky night serum for retinal regulars contains the strongest concentration of vitamin A to come out of the Crystal collection to date (that's a potent 2.0% retinaldehyde for all the skingredient buffs out there). Expect a complexion that appears smoother, brighter and oh-so-supple. That's not all though: the addition of hyaluronic acid, vitamin E and glycerin provides a soothing and hydrating pick-me-up to ensure that this super serum is gentle to even sensitive skin types.

Step 1: After cleansing in the evening, apply two pumps of Crystal Retinal to the face and neck. Allow to absorb then follow with a moisturiser. Medik8 recommend Advanced Night Restore (sold separately) which is specifically designed to be used after vitamin A.
Step 2: For new users of Crystal Retinal, phase application in gradually. Use twice a week for the first two weeks, every other night for the next two weeks, then every night. You should always use a sunscreen the next morning after using vitamin A. Medik8 recommend using at least one tube of your current Crystal Retinal strength before moving up the ladder to the next strength.

Slowly but surely
I am an experienced tretinoin user so opted straight for the 20. I have been using close to three weeks now and have noticed improved skin texture and general smoothing of fine lines. Cannot wait to see more results with continued use. Absolutely no horrible retinol side effects at all

Game changing silky night Serum
I'm a huge fan of medik8 and was super excited to get my hands on the next upgrade to my evening retinal serum! Over the last few years I've built up from 3% to 6% before progressing to 10% over Christmas. Since building in the 20% into my routiene once a week over the last month I am amazed with the results, the retinal serum is super gentle. I pop it on before brushing my teeth to allow the serum to properly soak into my skin and then apply my Medik8 night restore moistorisure which is also incredible. Top top as the serum is a much darker yellow / orange make sure to let it really sink into your skin before your face touches the pillow with lighter linens!! I cant wait to see further improvements over the next few months of continued use, but so far it's great.

Top tier for retinol pros!
If you're experienced with retinol, this is a must-have. Even though it's got a high potency, it doesn't feel too harsh on my skin (but again, this is because I'm a retinol pro, so don't jump straight to 20 before working your way up there). Since using this, my skin's radiance has improved so much and I can't wait to see more enhancements as I keep using it.

A true miracle worker!
As someone with dry skin, I need to be careful when selecting which retinal to add to my routine. For years now, I’ve been turning to Medik8, as it not only visibility brightens and smooths my skin, but it doesn’t strip it of moisture. As an avid retinal user, I was so excited to try this stronger Vitamin A and it did not disappoint! At first, I layered it over my moisturiser so it acted like a buffer but now I use it every other evening and I’m already seeing noticeable changes. I can’t wait to see the long term results!

No Irritation!
I've been a loyal Medik8 Crystal Retinal user for years having worked my way up to 10, so jumped at the opportunity to try the new 20 strength. As this is double the strength of my usual, I was admittedly a bit apprehensive to try this (although I have normal skin and never reacted to actives before) and concerned about my skin drying out or peeling. I needn't have worried. Whilst only using for 3 weeks now, I followed their advice to gently work up to daily use over the course of a few weeks and have experienced no irritation whatsoever. I'm already noticing the results; more even complexion, less breakouts and softer, more supple skin. I can't wait to see the results after a few more weeks. The only downside (and by no means a deal breaker) is that it does leave you with a slight orange hue when applied but as it's part of my evening routine, it's doesn't bother me at all.
