Initially I didn’t like the scent and couldn’t pick up any of the vanilla notes. Now, I’d say the overall scent is of smoke and vanilla, which I like. The vanilla scent grows throughout the day and is the lingering note at the end of the day, so it’s a nice scent to wear over a long period to really get the full effect
