Disappointing
I had high hopes for the Huda Beauty Lip Stain, but unfortunately, it was a letdown. The biggest issue is longevity—it barely lasted an hour before fading significantly, even without eating or drinking. I expected a lip stain to have staying power, but this performed more like a tinted gloss. What’s even more disappointing is that after just two uses, the formula completely dried out in the tube. It became clumpy and hard to apply evenly. For a premium brand, I expected better product stability. Overall, it feels like style over substance. Given the price, there are definitely better, more long-lasting lip stains on the market that don’t dry out or wear off this quickly. Wouldn’t repurchase again.

Wouldn’t repurchase
I picked up two shades - Rosewood and Cinnamon. Rosewood was a big disappointment. The formula was extremely watery, with barely any pigment; nothing like the swatches shown online. After just a couple of uses, it stopped dispensing product entirely. Cinnamon, on the other hand, looked just like the photos and had impressive staying power. However, despite careful application, the colour bled above my lips and even settled into my pores. I genuinely ended up looking like the Joker! I think it may be better suited to those with fuller lips and no fine lines 🙈 For the price, especially considering how little product you get, I expected a much better product.

So long lasting
I got this in a couple of colours, they work really well and are very precise. You don’t get an awful lot of stain in it but it is a liner so I don’t think it’ll be running out quickly. You get a little time to blend out the liner but you do have to be fast, once it dries down it’s there and it’s not moving, even after double cleansing I could still make out the lines

Actually does what it says on the tin! Seriously. Doesn't budge. Dries down fast but easy to apply. Soft nude is quite dark berry on me but still workable. Toasty Brown is perfection and not too warm toned (as I feared from seeing it on TikTok). Wow Huda.. this is IT!
