Starting at the base of the lashes, pull mascara brush straight through from root to tip. One application provides an instant effect, but additional coats add intense definition, length and lift. To remove, splash warm water onto eyes. Gently use fingers to lift mascara from the lashes.

The worst mascara I have ever bought!
I really wanted to love this, truly, I did. I read lots of reviews before buying it, the tubing technology sounds amazing. Verdict: I hate it. It's awful. Let's start with the brush. Zero lift. Zero curl. Barely any colour (and I have dark eyelashes to start with). If you like your lashes to look wispy you might like this mascara. If you want curl and definition, this is not for you. Next, the clumping on this mascara is really bad. And because of the tubing tech, you get extra clumps on the tips of the lashes which is a real pain to remove in any sensible way without creating more clumps or mess - maybe if you have a lash comb you'll be ok. Now this tubing technology: sounds great but really isn't. For starters this mascara starts to flake and shed as the day goes on (and I wear contacts so you can imagine how annoying this is). What's more, because of the tubing, instead of small bits flaking (which isn't acceptable anyway) you get an entire lash's tube on your face. It's a mess. Removing this mascara should be easy and it kinda is, but if you use a cleanser, you'll see that it doesn't melt away the mascara like normal formulas, the tubes just slide off your lashes and on to your face. I've found myself having to do an extra cleanse just to get rid of the bits. All in all, the worst mascara I've ever bought. Definitely not worth the money and the tubing technology is a joke. I will be going back to Better Than Sex or even Climax which were better formulas and brushes for less price and with little to no fall out/flake. Even benefit roller lash was better than this mascara. Save your pennies.

New favourite tubing mascara
It is possible that, if you are not limited to tubing mascara, you might find better mascaras, especially as volume is concerned. But I had had panda eyes forever when I discovered tubing mascaras, and although I am forever grateful to Kevyn Aucoin for restarting my relationship with mascara and hence makeup in general, this is so much better. I love it!

Didn’t love it
I have very long natural lashes but always need a bit of body to make them look their best. I was eager to try this after seeing it on a friend where it looked amazing. Unfortunately I didn’t like the rubberised brush. I always find fibre brushes suit me so much better as putting this on made my lashes stick in clumps. I also found it flakes throughout the day so I always had little specks around my eyes. It was also a nightmare to take off because of this. I have found the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara so much better for my lashes personally.

Lift and length coming your way
I admit it wasn't love at first use, first sight yes but my preference is a bristle brush so of course Hourglass Caution is my go-to. Having said that the brush is beautiful, grabs and glides on your lashes for immediate length and lift. The formula is ultra-black (not always easy to find) and very buildable. I've been using Revitalash for over a year now so I need very little mascara to get that high impact look, these two are a match made in heaven. A beautiful mascara all round!

Lengthen and Curls
I am a big fan of Hourglass mascara and this one has definitely not disappoint. It Iisvery easy to apply, including the little hairs on the side without smudging. It definitely makes my lashes longer and gives them that extra curl at the end

LOVE
As a HUGE fan of Hourglass' Caution Extreme Lash Mascara, I was so excited to try this and it did not disappoint. It gives a dreamy false-lash effect by lengthening, volumizing and separating my lashes whilst staying put all day long without flaking. I find myself reaching for this mascara more than any other, which in my eyes is a big win!

Roller Lash, who?
I have SWORN by Benefit's Roller Lash since it launched in 2015 and nothing has been able to top its silicone wand of wonder – until I tried this. You can layer it to your heart's content and build the long and voluminous lashes of your dreams without a single clump. Most importantly, it lasts. No smudging or transfer, and the lift it gives your lashes is just as insane by the end of the day as it was in the morning. My new Holy Grail.

No more smudges
I LOVE THIS MASCARA! Since I first tried it this has been the only mascara I reach for. It doesn't smudge and is super easy to remove yet it stays very well through the day. It's very lengthening however it doesn't give a lot of volumes. It's perfect for an everyday look.

Don't believe the hype...
I really wanted to love this, and while it is a good mascara - it's not great and just doesn't live up to the hype. I got sucked in by the amazing reviews, bit the bullet and dumped the best part of £30 on this - definitely wasn't worth it, if I could return it I would. I've gone back to using my old favourite drug store mascara, which gives better results at less than a third of the price. The consistency is very wet, and I feel like it weighs my lashes down which in turn prevents them from holding a decent curl. The brush holds too much product and you have to apply with a really light hand or it clumps, and it takes a long time to dry between coats. The only positive for me was that it removes really easily with just warm water. The packaging is beautiful and the cruelty-free credentials are what sold it to me, but I think there are far better alternatives out there at a fraction of the cost.
