Starting at the base of the lashes, pull mascara brush straight through from root to tip. One application provides an instant effect, but additional coats add intense definition, length and lift. To remove, splash warm water onto eyes. Gently use fingers to lift mascara from the lashes.

My new favourite mascara
Love, love, love this mascara. I struggle with oily eyelids, and find that a LOT of mascaras, even tubing mascaras, still transfer to my lower lids by the end of the day, leading to the dreaded panda eye. A handful of products don't, but always have some let-down that leads me not to purchase again - I have pretty stick-straight lashes, with some that even grow downwards at times, and unfortunately most tubing mascaras instantly undo any work I've done curling my lashes beforehand. Not Hourglass Unlocked. It holds a curl, lasts all day, and the tube I'm using is yet to dry out - I've realised as I write this review I've actually been using the same tube since JULY which is way longer than any of my other mascaras have lasted. I've worked hard to grow my lashes over the past year, and this also somehow manages to lengthen them even more as well as leaving my lashes looking darker and more defined in just two coats. I've never had a lash lift before, but with my curling process and Hourglass on my lashes, this is what I assume it would look like. I do find this starts to feel a bit sticky by the end of the day, but despite this, still doesn't transfer - I've put this down to the overall oiliness of my eyelids, and it doesn't affect the overall look of my lashes, so think this is a small price to pay when all the pros of this mascara are taken into account. As a tubing mascara, Hourglass Unlocked is true to form in that it washes off with warm water, but as a bonus I find my usual micellar water also gets it off.

I have always had a problem with my mascara transferring to my brows so I did some research and apparently I needed a “tubing” mascara - I thought this one was a little expensive but OMG so worth it.. I get zero transfer onto my skin even though this seriously lengthens my lashes and doesn’t clump at all. Also, I forgot to remove it before bed one evening and despite being a side sleeper, my mascara hadn’t budged at all in the morning! However when I go to remove this it slides off so easily.. honestly such a game changer this is definitely a new holy grail make up product

Among the worst mascaras. This will clump your lashes to 5-6 distinct skinny triangles. The only plus is its weightless feel and easy to take off formula. But what’s the point? Disappointed.
