Its full coverage. Goes on smooth never goes cakey and lasts all day. It has a soft matte finish but if your oily could go abit glowy if you’d rather be matte id powder down. Cream and powder products go beautifully over the top.

Not my favourite
I love Hourglass products, so was very excited to try this. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. I have normal skin with very little in the way of fine lines, pores or wrinkles, but this settled into every line I had, particularly on my forehead, made my skin look like it had poor texture although it doesn't, looked blotchy even using a beauty blender, and was so drying (even after using moisturiser and the Hourglass primer, which incidentally I do love!) so I found it unusable on it's own. Honestly I look better using just primer with no foundation at all! I hate to waste it though, so as the colour was too cold for my neutral toned skin, I now add a few drops of a deeper shade of tinted moisturiser. It's not a perfect fix, and I'd not buy this again - personally I didn't feel it gave a 'soft glow' at all! - but if you are after high coverage then I guess this could be a good option. I'll be sticking with my usual NARS or Pat McGrath foundation instead though!

I love this foundation, switched over from Nars which I also love. This hourglass one gives me an airbrushed look and I love that it’s buildable. This is the only foundation that I use that will last me morning til night without any slippage. Doesn’t sink into pores or fine lines, doesn’t cause breakouts. I recommend colour matching on the hourglass website, it got me spot on. Love it
