Pore defining powder
I was excited to try it out since I've been a huge fan of Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder. I have tried a couple of shades and my favourite so far is Diffused Light which blurs the pores and fine lines whilst giving a sophisticated glow to the face. I also like Dim Light which makes my skin look plumper for some reason, but the shade is a little too dark for my skin tone.I was expecting Infinity Powder to be more on the Ambient Lighting Powder side, rather than the Strobe Light Powder side, as the name suggests. However, I find it more like the Strobe Light but less glittery. Strobe Light has got more shimmer and glitter particles whereas Infinity Powder is a little more muted, but definitely more shimmery than Ambient Lighting Powder. I used it on top of my silicone primer, high-coverage foundation and matte finishing powder, simply because I was worried if it could emphasise my pores. The conclusion is, it does. No matter what I do, my pores are in the spotlight. All you can see is my pores. It looks beautiful on my forehead and jawline where there is no pores. It's such a beautiful champaign colour that I absolutely adore. You might be able to use it as a highlighter if that's what you're looking for, but I deeply regret investing on it without knowing the fact it emphasise the pores and fine lines. Don't be fooled by its name -it's more on the Strobe Light side.
