Devastated at the new packaging
This was my all time favourite moisturiser that I was religiously dedicated to and I’m going to have to find a new favourite. I hate the new packaging (green washing) and that you get 10ml less for the same price. Very disappointed in glow recipe.

As a religious user of the Glow Recipe moisture I’m extremely disappointed to see the packaging change and receiving 10ml less for the same price. The new packaging is much larger than the old packaging probably in the hopes no one will notice there is 10 ml less. This is disappointing as I am already frequently replacing this moisturiser. It’s so sad to see big brands pushing their products out of people’s budget just to make more money at the top. This is definitely showing the true colours of the brand.

Love this moisturiser. A staple in my daily routine.
Amazing moisturiser. So light and not greasy. Sinks into the skin, and can layer other products on top. I use this after cleansing, before my tinted moisturiser with high SPF and finish off with Dew Drops as my base before applying a thin layer of foundation. My skin stays moisturised and doesn’t get oily throughout the day.

Undisclosed formulation change
Just a warning for any long term users of this product : the formula has been changed. After being gifted a 60ml bottle for Christmas, I opened it two days ago to notice a huge change in smell. The light watermelon scent is gone and has been replaced with a lingering almost plastic scent. After getting in contact with glow recipe themselves it seems they’ve reformulated to include ‘100% natural plant based aromas’ which, ironically, smells more synthetic than the original fresh watermelon scent. For me it smells almost alcoholic with a tinge of plastic - unpleasant. However - if your skin is sensitive to any form of fragrance, this change may be welcome for you? I am aware that smell is objective but it’s made this product unusable for me and I’m now stuck with a large bottle that smells bad enough I am unable to use it on my face. For me, the original scent was a huge part of the experience and helped justify the price point for a product that felt luxurious. The three stars are for the fact this still absorbs fast and the gorgeous packaging but the new formula also seems stickier than the original despite the fact that the only thing changed is supposedly the scent. Sadly, glow recipe, you’ve lost a loyal customer. Hopefully this formula change will be added to the description of this item so people don't spend money on a product that's no longer the same without knowing.
