I purchased this on a whim and wasn't sure if it would suit my parched bleached long hair. Have to say I was pleasantly surprised. My hair felt really smooth and hydrated whilst I was shampooing it, and it didn't leave it feeling tangled and matted like a lot of shampoos seem to. Lathered really well, which is rare these days and especially as I live in a hard water area. Followed it immediately with the matching conditioner which was also really hydrating. Overall left my hair feeling really clean, smooth, and well hydrated and will definitely repurchase. First Gisou products I've purchased, but I'll definitely try more from the range.

Happily surprised
I’ve got dry, wavy hair that frizzes easily and I was sceptical to purchase at first, given the mixed reviews. However, this actually made my hair shiny and soft without any stringiness. A little goes a long way, so although it’s pricey, it should last. Just be sure to follow with a hydrating mask as it cleanses quite thoroughly. One star off for the cost, but this has definitely become my new ‘just walked out of a salon’ shampoo.

I had really high hopes for this shampoo and conditioner. I have very long, thick hair and wanted to try a new range that would give a good hydration boost. This shampoo did the opposite- it did leave my hair and scalp feeling very clean but not the level of frizz control/ mositurising I was expecting. Disappointing

I have really thick & dry hair and this has made it so much more manageable! It smells amazing, is so concentrated so a little goes a long way & has hydrated and smoothed my hair. It cleanses my hair really nicely without leaving it feeling stripped. Will be repurchasing!

No hydration to speak of
I had high hopes for this shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo emulsifies nicely, and smells fine, not great. But it made my hair feel dry, and any softness that I have from other shampoos is not replicated here. It felt stringy, dry, and certainly didn't give a shine. It seems to do the opposite of what it says. Really disappointing. Going back to the wonderful Davines.
