Unique not as long lasting on the skin
I loved this. I bought it without smelling it before, and it took some getting used to. It is very rich and complex. I can certainly smell the rose, but for me, the predominant smell is intense, although it is well-balanced. It lasts forever on clothes, but I find I can't smell it as well on the skin after a couple of hours. This is the only reason I have given it 4 starts.

This is a heady (not headachy) intoxicating scent that changes and shifts as it wears down. It's terribly expensive and I could only afford the smallest bottle but you really don't need much at all and it lasts and lasts. I was concerned that it would be too heady for some (around me) but I've only had very positive feed back. I really love this scent and I would re purchase it.

I bought portrait of a lady fragrance in 30ml, 50ml and 100ml. 30ml bottle has finished, and I am using 50ml currently. I really love this frangrance. It is strong, long lasting patchouli rose scent. If you don't like strong scent, une rose maybe a better choice which is my top 1 Frederick Malle Fragrance.

I also got a 10ml bottle of this fragrance with 2 others. I love the 2 that I got for myself (this one inclusive). It is more gorgeously beautiful as it breaks down, and long lasting. A little goes a long way, I will recommend and will get the larger bottle too when I return from my holiday.

I think I am growing to like this perfume. It’s definitely not something that I would have bought if I smelled it before buying( I like sweet aromas more). I bought it because of the so many positive reviews. It has very heavy initial smell but the after scent is what I like. Especially if I spray it on my hair. It is long lasting for sure, smells citrusy, musky. The initial scent is more oriental like.
