Drunk Elephant - Protini Polypeptide Cream

1 stars out of a maximum of 5

I wanted to like this cream more than I do, unfortunately. It just doesn't work for me. I find the texture waxy and that it doesn't go into my skin. I do like other Drunk Elephant products, just not this one.

Best daydream ever

I discovered this daydream 2 years ago and it's the only product I can use on my sensitive skin.

Wish it lasted longer

I loved this moisturiser but won't be purchasing again as it has just run out after only 2 months use. If you can regularly spare the £57 then I would recommend it, I've got dry skin but am still prone to spots and it did a brilliant job of moisturising without breaking me out. The packaging is great too, you just push the top and the moisturiser comes straight out, which you would think helps control how much you use... but it did still run out quickly. Just wish it lasted longer as I can't be spending £60 on moisturiser every two months!

This moisturizer feels so good on my skin. It is light and makes my face feel super soft after.

Very thick but good moisturiser

Not sure if I want to buy this again, and will not use it in summertime as its very tick feels like I am putting on vaseline on my face but once it is on your skin absorbed well.

VERY GOOD

First time tried this! It's a very good moisturizer. It's a high price but worth it. Good moisture for dry-sensitive skin. Smells ok, silk texture

Runs Out So Quickly

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

I like it, it does moisturize, however, it runs out soooooo quickly, usually, I can live 8 months with 50ml, but this one runs out within 3 months, and I have used 2 bottles with the same usage speed, so, considering the price tag, it is expensive. I even checked against light second bottle, if it's full in the beginning, and it is, still, it runs out super fast. Good, nothing exceptional, but good moisturizes.

Spots & more

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

Had high hopes for this one (especially considering the price tag). At first it felt v hydrating & nice on my skin. Didn't smell great, has a play doh like scent. After a few days of using I broke out badly - a mixture of closed comedones and red angry spots. Would avoid if u have sensitive/acne prone skin

DOES NOT LAST LONG

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

I started using this at the start of November. It’s now January 26th and this has just ran out !!! I have NEVER used 50ml of face cream this quickly, especially when I only use it in the morning. I’m actually suspicious of how much was in the jar.. definitely won’t be buying again it’s just not worth the money for the amount you get
