Not for acne prone skin

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

Purchased for winter. First two weeks of usage were pretty good, but then I noticed the cream breaks out my skin - it looks super oily and cream seems to be too heavy. So for this price tag the cream us not the best choice. Will use as body moisturizer :(

Found it

I have super acne-prone, sensitive cream and finally I found the moisturizer that works! I can't even begin to explain how at peace I feel know that I have this.

Good but wouldn't buy again

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

I bought this moisturizer bc of its raving reviews (like every other "magical" product I've ever bought). I have super dry patches and very sensitive skin. I found this product to be soothing, calming and hydrating. The hydration didn't last as long as I would've liked. I felt like my skin absorbed all of it within 30 min and went back to being super dry in about 5 hours. With that being said, I still found myself reaching out for it every morning like my skin was craving it. One thing I really disliked about it was the bulky container making it feel like your getting your money's worth when it comes to the actual amount of the product, when in actuality it's only 50ml and finished quite quickly.

A damn fine day cream

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I have sensitive skin that is both eczema prone and acne-ridden so finding a moisturiser that doesn't break me out or cause irritation has proven something of a challenge. This fits the bill. It hasn't transformed my skin, but it's a damn fine day cream that provides suitable hydration and balance to my troubled face. I don't use this everyday as I find that the DE Lala Retro Whipped Cream provides better protection against the elements in the winter months without causing my acne to worsen but when I'm without it I miss the 'thirst-quenching' effect the peptides in this moisturiser have on my skin. I have been using this on and off for a year and whilst I begrudge paying £57 I keep coming back for more and I really would recommend this product.

Amazing!

I’ve been using this product along with their cleansing balm for about 6 months’ and it has completely transferred my skin. I even feel confident to wear no makeup now (which I have never done!). I have hormonal skin, I have been to my GP and a dermatologist and both couldn’t help. I haven’t had a single breakout since using this. I have used every high end and high street skincare brand out there, but this one is the one for me.

Not worth the hype..

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

I purchased this cream after hearing a bunch of great reviews about it, however, I was left disappointed. It left an oily residue on my skin and did not wear well either on top of my other skin care products (most of them being from Drunk Elephant!) nor under makeup. Probably my least favorite product from DE. Not worth the money or hype - 4 types cheaper Embryolisse cream does a way better job!

I love anything Drunk Elephant, since I started using this my skin has improved so much, it's soft and looks so healthy. I will continue buying this for as long as Cult Beauty stocks it!

Very good

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

I really like this product; I have combination skin that gets oily very easily but also dries out if not moisturized enough. Very light creams leave my skin too dry. This is the perfect medium - although I do prefer it with DE serum underneath. My only issue is the price - it's a very good moisturizer, but too expensive! I find that it doesn't last as long as others either. I use it in the morning (and then use a heavier cream at night), and it lasts just about 3 months. When I used it twice a day it only lasted a month. I would purchase again because I do like it . . . but wish they'd lower the price a bit.

Not that hydrating

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

I was really excited to try my first drunk elephant product from one of the goody bags, however I can’t help but feel a little underwhelmed. This cream is nice and light so I used as a day cream and was happy with the results under make up. I don’t think this cream is thick enough for my dry skin to lock in moisture overnight unfortunately.

Best moisturiser ever!

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I have dry skin and dry lines on my face which are not really wrinkles but they surely look like it. This is the only moisturiser that I’ve found that smooths out my skin overnight and keeps it plump and young-looking. Best moisturiser ever and I’ve tried a lot!
