I tried a sample of this and seemed ok so ordered some. It is now a daily staple. It’s a real comforting cream and my skin is definitely softer.

Not great

1 stars out of a maximum of 5

I have used this for a week or so now and it is not nice. It smells as if its off which is very of putting but it also does nothing for my skin. It seemed so light that after a few minutes my skin felt dry and tight. I have tried lots of different products but this is one I will not buy again.

Thick

I have combination skin- oily t zone and dry cheeks. I tried this and although the texture is lovely, it is definitely too much for my skin. I love the philosophy of the brand and will try this again next winter.

Great for very dry skin

Very rich and creamy. More suited for people with very dry skin who don't mind a heavier moisturiser. My skin cannot live without it. Love it.

Gorgeous

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I'd been hesitant about shelling out for any Drunk Elephant products due to the hefty pricetag, but decided to splurge on my birthday - thank goodness I did! This moisturiser has a gorgeous consistency, light but creamy at the same time, and perfect for my sensitive, dehydrated skin. The texture makes it feel very luxurious, and it made my skin noticeably softer. I like that it is unscented as well, as strong perfumes tend to make my skin break out in allergic acne. Serums layer beautifully underneath it, too. Only downside is the pricetag - it is eye watering, but to be fair I did get a good 3-4 months out of it so I can't complain too much. Highly recommend!

SEALED

This moisturiser is great! Really puts a thick layer of hydration into/onto my skin and locks in for the whole day/night. Does have a very authentic smell of African oils. All over a very good product

Pleasantly surprised

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

I really like this moisturiser, after reading other reviews I was concerned I would be disappointed, but not at all leaves my dry skin perfectly moisturised without being greasy or shiny and I found the smell really pleasant, would of been a 5 out of 5 but it is on the pricey side, will definitely purchase again tho!

Rich, comforting cream

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

I do love this cream over either DE’s A-Passioni or the Framboose serum at night, mixed with a few drops of the marula oil. Keeps the ingredients in the serums locked in and allows them to do their work overnight. I love the packaging of Lala, and it does feel very comforting and moisturising on the skin, however, I’m not sure it justifies £50 a pop. Saying that, since I invested in the DE range my skin looks the best it has done for ages, so I may have to shell out again...

Beautiful consistency

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

This is a rich, thick cream that leaves skin smooth and beautifully moisturized. It has made a noticeable difference to my dry patches and has soothed my sensitive skin in the wintertime but I believe it will be too heavy once the weather warms up. I don't think it's suitable for you if you have oily skin, but it has been wonderful for my slightly combo complexion. The only drawback that I find is its scent which is almost playdough like. Except for that I highly recommend it.
