Davines’ gentle, softening and voluminising shampoo is brimming with roucou oil – a potent Amazonian extract derived from the fruit of the achiote – it’s 100 times richer in beta-carotene than carrots and helps to stimulate melanin synthesis (and in turn, maintain your hair’s natural pigment), while its ellagic acid content works to neutralise free radicals and thus protect against cellular damage caused by UV exposure. The best gift I could have given my hair
I was looking for a shampoo/conditioner duo for "normal" hair (non color-treated, relatively healthy) that would clean my hair without drying it out and give softness and shine. The Davines OI line is exactly this and I'm so happy that I took a chance on it! It smells great and gives me happy healthy hair that can go two days without a wash (my hair gets oily quickly). I also love that the conditioner is so nourishing and gives me soft manageable and shiny hair with no frizz. I only wish it came in a bigger size because I double-wash my hair and I'm going through it pretty quickly. Five stars, your hair will thank you for this.

Wow! Don't be put off by the price tag!
Reading initially about this product I was a little sceptical after trying so many different hair products throughout the years which have promised to restore my hair back to full health, but I must say this shampoo tops them all! My hair type is straight and stays relatively stress free, but I find it usually gets greasy quite easily, and find myself having to wash my hair more often, due to it losing it's fresh shine within a couple of hours of being out and about after it's wash, however with this shampoo I no longer have to worry about that. The shine lasts for both days between my hair washes, and I'm grease and frizz free! An absolute winner!
