I'm so undecided on this, I feel like it's super tricky to figure out sometimes it works really well and flawless, other times it looks crusty and dry. It's just too much work for me I think

Incredible at oil control! I apply the universal shade as a primer on my nose and then continue by makeup as normal. Controls oil amazingly well but doesn’t make the skin feel dry or makeup go patchy at all which I feel like other makeup products that target oil control do. Also does not break me out or clog my pores. 10/10 Danessa!

This has worked absolute wonders for my oily t-zone. Using the universal shade as a primer leaves me shine free for 8+ hours (longer with setting powder + fixing spray). The dry balm texture feels odd at first... I find it's best to let it sit for 5 mins before applying makeup. My complexion definitely looks smoother and I even find myself reaching for it on no makeup days too.

Universal shade
I recently bought the universal shade to try to wear it on the t-zone on top of the matte primer by DM and so far so good. I can see the blurring effect and makes my base look smoother. It doesn’t overly control my oils but that is okay as her other primer is meant to do that.

I like this for my no-effort makeup days. The shade match is very forgiving, and it does work well on my oily skin. Lasts throughout the day. Coverage better than expected. No need for concealer. I thought the dry down would feel more matte, but it still somehow seems a bit dewy on my skin. It CAN cling to flakey skin a little, worth mentioning if your skin is on the drier side or textured.
