I have been treating myself to the Cult Beauty advent calendar for a few years now. It is always very good but this year (Dec 2022) it felt a bit repetitive. You get a lot of products and it's usually nice and balanced but this year there were too many moisturisers and hair masks hardly any body care or makeup and only one face mask and one serum. I'm really enjoying using all of the products but just hope there is better variation of product type next year.

Third year buying the Cult Beauty Advent and I've never been disappointed with it. As usual it was filled with high quality products from great brands. I would love if the next one was done in long drawer style rather than little drawers so that it can be reused better but otherwise it was a joy to open and I love the Jo Loves candle every year so please don't stop that.

Great value but….
….the range of product type was very limited. The huge majority was face moisturisers/serums/potions, which was a shame. Although I like to explore new products, I’ve sorted my go-to facial products. It would have been lovely to have more make-up options, body, hair and/or well-being products. A great price for what was there but I’ll probably opt for another advent calendar next time.

More variety of products needed
I’ve bought the calendar for 3 years now and this year, although I still loved it and think the value for money is great, I was disappointed at the balance of different product types. There was a lot of skincare and, in my opinion, way too much haircare, and comparatively very little makeup, which I think for most people is the bit they’re most interested in. I hope next year’s calendar has a greater variety or I may look into a different beauty calendar.
