I bought the lip cheat pencil in pillow talk a while ago (which I love) and thought I would try the same shade as a lipstick. Wishing I had purchased it earlier- it's great and not as drying as some other matte lipsticks I have used.

Non-drying matte formula
I normally steer well away from matte lipsticks. My lips get so dry so quickly, that unless smothered in a cocoon of emollient, I tend to panic! No need to worry with these! I wouldn't wear them if my lips were already chapped, but they do not dry my lips out and so can be worn when my lips are in good condition. I really think that Charlotte Tilbury nails her colours, they are beautiful, nuanced and oh-so wearable. The packaging is gorgeous and a delight to use!

Long-wearing but makes my lips dry
I love the classic colour Pillow Talk and love that the lipstick is long wearing however it does make my lips dry and cracked after a while. It's not very moisturising. It's always a battle between lipsticks that are moisturising but not long-wearing and lipsticks that are long-wearing but not moisturising.
