Super pretty!

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

This is just the kind of glossy and slightly colour lip product that i love. It makes my super dry lips look plum for several hours and the product stays put really well even though it's a glossy formula. I got the colour Pillowtalk and it's just so pretty on my pale skin! I hope to get more colours!

Hyaluronic Happikis - Charlotte Tilbury

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

Beautiful colour, feels beautiful but is really let down by the “cheap” packaging. I think the thin plastic container, which breaks so easily, is not worthy of the beautiful product inside. I would give the lipstick itself 5 stars but subtracted 2 for the awful packaging.

What am I spending my money on, the brand?

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

I got the Pillow Talk one on sale, glad I didn't spend more money on this. The formula is very thick and sticky on the lips, it's a full-on lipstick coverage-wise but it feels like a cheap 90s lip gloss on the lips. It applies smoothly and looks good on the lips. Pillow Talk is a bit darker and warmer than in the Superstar Lips formula which I prefer but the colour is still wearable. The packaging is not THE worst but not being able to roll the stick back in and the cheap plastic can't make you happy about your purchase.

Formula is great!

My HG lip treatmant for years was Korean Mamonde vanilla stick mask. It had the same click packaging that I loved and thicker hydrating formula like this. It got discontinued so I was over the moon when I tried this one! Love the formula as well as the click dispenser. I find it cleaner and precise. If you are not after the saturated colour and you loved Mamonde I think you will love this one as well. This is my new favorite lip treatment...

Confusing..

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

I must say, I am a little confused about how I feel about this product. It is quite a thick formula that you can definitely feel on the lips. It is a balm texture but if you want a balm, this will be too thick for you. On the flip side, if you want a bold colour that stays on, then this is not for you either. It is, however, very hydrating and has a high shine but I am not sure if I would invest in the other colours. I also hate the packaging. It is a twist-up, so if you accidentally twist too much, you can't put the product back in, which is very annoying. *for reference I have the shade HappiPeach and it is a lot lighter than it looks in the picture.

Worst packaging ever?

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

I like the product but the packaging is AWFUL? Once you've wound it up you can't wind it back down, and it is made out of the cheapest thinnest plastic but priced similarly to the other beautifully packaged lipsticks? I've had better quality applicator in a children's Barbie make up set. Would not buy again based on this.

I love it

Love the pigmentation, and the plumping effect, I cannot wait to get them in more colours.

OK

I like the feel of this and the Crystal is a lovely pop of colour BUT it doesn’t last long and the packaging looks really cheap! Best used over another, similar lip colour if you really want more of a tint. If it was cheaper I’d have one in every handbag just for emergencies but at this price I’m not sure what it’s purpose is!

Good but not great

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

I really like the formula - I find it very hydrating and long lasting for a balm type lipstick. However, I prefer a lighter layer with this balm for a more subtle day look. If you are looking for lipstick coverage, I agree with the other reviews that you may find the formula too heavy and sticky. Personally, I really like it - the biggest downside is the packaging which is a real let down for a premuium product.

Disappointed

I got pillow talk. It's so dark, very thick and quite sticky. Not what I expected from something being sold as a balm. Plus there is not much product for £25. I will stick with NARS and the Huda balm.
