Specific scent but does intended job
I really like this slab! I had read on other sites that people weren't keen on the fragrance so I was a little reluctant to buy such a big bar without smelling it first however, I am familiar with the botanical nature of Aesop smells and I'm glad I went ahead and bought it. It is huge and I have cut it up into 3 smaller pieces but this is a plus for me, means I don't have to buy body wash for longer and also makes it very cost-effective. The smell is botanical and earthy, not at all floral but not musky either. Personally I like it, it isn't overpowering and I think it is a rather clean smell, but I wouldn't say it's a universal scent. It lathers up nicely, cleans well and so far seems to last a long while, I think it's a great item for switching out plastic body wash bottles!
