NYX Professional Makeups handy Micro Brow Pencil is essential for filling in sparse brow hairs and defining and tidying your arches. The skinny, mechanical nib can help you recreate the finest brow hairs, while you can use the brush at the other end to help tidy and blend your handiwork. With a natural array of shades to select from, you can fake bigger brows in an instant plus the easy twist-up mechanism means you wont need to hunt around for a sharpener either.
For best results, use short upwards stroke in the direction of hair growth. Fill in any gaps and extend where necessary, making sure to blend with the brush for even, natural looking coverage. Make sure you always do this in really, really good light, preferably sunlight, and always blend with the brush after drawing on your brow area.

Wouldn’t repurchase
I bought this because I love other nyx brow products like the brow glue and brow pen but I didn’t get on with this pencil. I thought it was quite dry and too thick to be able to create a hair stroke like you can with the pen.

Reliable but…
I like this for lots of reasons: colour is great (genuinely works for black eyebrows without looking like a sharpie), stays well, is really affordable. My only qualm is the shape of the ‘nib’. The roundness means making very precise, realistic hairs is tricky for the front of brows.Â

Wouldn’t be without it
This is my go to eyebrow product and has been for years. The pencil lets you add in hair like strokes or really fill them in, doesn’t budge and the cool ash brown colour is a a perfect ashy brown. Loads of product  as well so lasts for ages Â
