Huda Beauty began in 2013 with a single launch. Unable to find the false lashes she wanted for her clients, Huda Kattan created her own with her sisters, Alya and Mona — and the rest, as they say, is history. Today the brand covers complexion, lips, eyes and cheeks, with the same artist-first thinking behind every launch: formulas that wear for hours, photograph well and make a full face feel achievable at home.
MEET THE FOUNDER
Born to Iraqi parents, Huda Kattan was obsessed with makeup long before it became her career. After graduating with a finance degree, she retrained as a makeup artist in Los Angeles, building a client list that included Eva Longoria and Sofia Richie. A move to Dubai to work with Revlon followed, and in 2010 she launched her blog, hudabeauty.com, sharing professional tips and honest reviews with a fast-growing audience. Her first launch, a range of false lashes, soon caught the eye of Kim Kardashian.
