This is such a great base for eyeshadow that holds them crease free all day long. Superb! 

Usually I like the hourglass makeup products, however the veil face primer was disastrous for me . The eye primer was much better , but ther are better alternatives in the market 

This product is amazing, you just need a small amount, wait for it to dry then apply your eyeshadow and liner. The only downside is it’s harder to fluff out edges of shades as the eyeshadow tends to set straight away.

I have blepharitis and dry eyes and I put eye drops in four times a day. I’ve had an issue for years of trying to keep my eyemake-up on. Sometimes by the time I’ve driven to work it’s already smudged. This eyeshadow primer is amazing, it keeps my eye-make-up on all day. You only need a small amount so the tube has lasted a while. It’s so worth the money for me, it keeps my winged eyeliner perfect all day.

My eyeshadow would always crease and melt off a few hours into the day - or at least have smudged a bit. With this it stays perfectly in place day and night, foolproof. The only thing is the packaging sometimes releases too much when it’s almost empty, just comes out quite quickly. Still give 5* as it’s so amazing and just have to be careful when squeezing it towards the end of its life! 

This is so soft to apply and really means the eye shadow colours are true when applied on top. 

Firstly, I want to say that I love many Hourglass products, but sadly not this one. It’s a thick texture which smooths out very well on the lid, however, eyeshadow literally grips onto it like glue and immediately from then on doesn’t move - at all, so it’s impossible to blend. If you do manage to get any to blend out at all, it tends to go patchy. I’ve got many palettes and take pride in applying my eyeshadow, but I just can’t get on with this. The texture is also extremely drying on the lid and I also really struggled to apply eyeliner on top of the shadow, when normally it glides on. As the texture was so drying, it also really accentuated creases around my eyes and actually made me look tired and older - not the look I was hoping for. As soon as I went back to my previous Urban Decay primer potion, I was able to apply my eyeshadow properly again as normal. If you are over 50 (I’m 56) I’d recommend avoiding this if you can.

I use this everyday and have been since it came out. I am on my second tube. Absolutely wonderful.
