Everybody in the Cult’s getting tipsy! Serious skin, hair and body care heroes that don’t take themselves super seriously, Drunk Elephant’s rise to the top of the industry pops has been (rightfully!) meteoric. Founded by Tiffany Masterson who wanted to formulate products without any ‘fillers’, this all-star collection is powered by biocompatible actives – a mix of synthetic and plant-derived extracts – that skin recognises and knows what to do with. And, because of their ingredient-elimination philosophy, you won’t find any of the following ‘Suspicious 6’ – drying alcohols, silicones, SLS, chemical screens, essential oils or fragrances/dyes – so you can ‘reset’ your complexion and help both your skin and your tresses to flourish like never before.

If your skin’s in need of rescue, introduce it to this quenching, nourishing all-purpose moisturising cream. Taking ceramides and blending with six African oils and whipping them up into a cream, this airy blend has the luxurious texture of a rich face cream without feeling suffocating or heavy.
Marula oil nourishes and rejuvenates skin, high in antioxidants and omegas; Mongongo defends against environmental aggressors; baobab is rich in vitamin C and provides moisturising, antioxidant and soothing benefits; Kalahari melon is a super-moisturising, rejuvenating oil; ximenia is rich in vitamin C and very nourishing and, finally, passion fruit is rich in essential fatty acids and vitamin C to help brighten skin. Accompanying these nourishing oils, plantain extract aids in restoring skin and brightening, while ferment oil green tea seed provides moisturising and nourishing benefits. Formulated at an ideal pH level of 5.5, Lala Retro Whipped Cream prevents skin from looking dull or dry while delivering a steady dose of moisture throughout the day and night. The airtight (and cute!) container also helps the formula to stay super-fresh.
Apply a pump of Lala Retro™ anytime to clean, dry skin. Mix with any Drunk Elephant serum, oil, or sunscreen as part of a total skin-care solution. Add a shot of B-Hydra for an additional boost of vitamin B + hydration. Also, Lala Retro may be applied to any part of the body for nourishing relief from dryness.

Good but nothing special
Great whipped moisturiser that is nourishing enough but doesn't remain tacky or cause fluff to stick to your face (there are some moisturisers that do this terribly).Works day or night and has never pilled. This is product will last about 2 months and is nothing special for the price to be honest. Maybe worth it if you use point to buy it and manage to get it during a sale which there often is.
Report this reviewExpensive
I really like this cream however for what it costs, it doesn’t last long at all. I like how you can use the bottle with the pump or twist the lid off and scoop the cream out
Report this reviewGreat for winter
I've been using Lala Retro Whipped Cream for more than a year now. I have combination to dry skin and could say that it works great for me in the winter, since my skin gets extremely dry. Unfortunately, that's not the case in the warmer seasons, It doesn't absorb well and my skin breaks out.
Report this reviewGood moisturiser
I have been using lala for more than 3 years now. I love it. I have used other creams in between as well but I always come back to it. I will stick to it always. The good point is that it never makes my skin break out or make my skin greasy at all. I dont know how bright or how much change it has done to my skin but I can clearly see and feel that it never harms my skin. My skin is hydrated. The cream is clean and is never exposed to air.
Report this reviewHoly grail
I have normal to dry skin & this moisturizer is absolutely perfect for me! I like it better than protini as it is oil based and quite a bit thicker :) it makes my skin feel super soft & hydrated, best moisturizer I’ve ever used.
Report this reviewNot as good as the protein moisturiser
I’ll start by saying this is actually a very good moisturiser and does what it needs to do (but thats it and for the price I want more than that). I’ve used the protein moisturiser from drunk elephant for a while and its an absolute holy grail, I wanted to change things up and try this and I wish I hadn’t wasted my money, and just stuck with the Protein version. I do think this is a good moisturiser but for the price its not worth it, ESPECIALLY when all their other products that I’ve tried have blown me away and have been amazing. This is just…meh
Report this reviewAmazing
I have dry sensitive skin that easily breaks out in hives. It is always difficult to find products that do not irritate it. This is amazing . I can use it worry free and my skin feeling great and getting “better” daily. Thanks so much DE and Cult . Must also thank Dominique Sasche for recommending via her social media. Love her and these products.
Report this reviewLong lasting hydration
Great for dehydrated skin. Not oily or heavy but skins into the skin and keeps it plump and hydrated for hours. A product I keep coming back to.
Report this reviewPerfect for de-hydrated skin
I love this moisturiser, it’s a must have in the colder weather. It has helped to protect my skin against dehydration. Only issue is it will only last me a month at a time, for the price would be great if it lasted a bit longer.
