    • Why it's Cult

Answering the prayers of many a Drunk Elephant devotee, this super-charged, silicone-free formulation features 1% retinol (it's potent!), alongside a fruit cocktail of extracts such as passionfruit, apricot, kale and winter cherry (not to mention firming peptides and essential fatty acids)! Promoting skin renewal and boosting collagen production, this intensive treatment minimises visibility of fine lines and dark spots to reveal vibrant, healthy-looking skin. Probably the most wanted skin care range ever, Drunk Elephant is worth the hype – and then some... Founded by Tiffany Masterson, wanted to formulate products without any ‘fillers’, this all-star collection is powered by biocompatible actives – a mix of synthetic and plant-derived extracts – that skin recognises and knows what to do with. And, because of their ingredient-elimination philosophy, you won’t find any of the following ‘Suspicious 6’ (essential oils, drying alcohols, silicones, chemical screens, fragrance/dyes and SLS) so you can ‘reset’ your complexion and help both your skin and your tresses to flourish like never before.

Ideal for all those who're already acquainted with the wonders of retinol (this can trigger irritation and peeling if your skin is sensitive, or if you're new to the retinol realm), Drunk Elephant’s game-changing A-Passioni Retinol Cream is the perfect addition to your evening-time routine.

A powerhouse complex, this potent, silicone-free formulation of 1% retinol boasts comforting and nourishing ingredients (passionfruit, apricot, kale, winter cherry extracts, skin-firming peptides and essential fatty acids), to give lazy skin cells a boot up their bottoms! This product means business - promoting skin renewal and boosting collagen production while reducing depth of wrinkles and improving signs of damage - and with continual use, it rejuvenates cells to reveal über vibrant, revitalised skin. • How to use

Apply a pea-sized amount or less to a clean and dry face. Limit initial use to once or twice a week, gradually increasing frequency to every other night and then finally up to every night (as tolerated). Proceed with caution if you're sensitive or new to retinol - this may induce redness/irritation to begin with and you may incur some flakiness until your skin acclimatises. Avoid using the night before a big event/special occasion (unless you're already a retinol addict)!

Avoid applying to eye area and use a broad spectrum SPF during the day.

Drunk Elephant - A-Passioni Retinol Cream

Drunk Elephant A-Passioni Retinol Cream Reviews

    Believe the hype!
Acne-prone, oily/combo, mature skin here, and when I use A-Pass during my alternate nights, I wake up the next day with plum, clear, even, rosy cheeks! My skin drinks this up and there’s no greasy residue. This has become my staple and alternate it with Framboose (the other HG)! However, I had to get my skin used to A-Pass as it is extremely potent and initially I woke up with a red, painful face; it looked like I got badly sunburnt. But once I dialed back and let my skin adjust gradually, I was blown away! I followed DE’s instructions and started 1/week, then 2/week, after a few weeks 3/week, etc. After I distribute and massage it into my skin, I follow it with LaLa or another moisturizer. Another important thing is to use sunscreen, preferably broad-spectrum SPF 50. I’m sure A-Pass is not for everyone, but I highly recommend giving this one at least a try because if it works out, it’ll work brilliantly!!
    Psoriasis and sensitive skin
I was really hesitant about buying this as I have psoriasis on my face and very sensitive skin. I've taken it really slowly so far twice a week use and I always prep my skin with another product beforehand. It's been great for my facial psoriasis and my break outs have dropped down significantly would definitely reccomend giving this a try if you are a first time retinol user like me and a little wary.
    will buy again
This is my first foray into retinol. I have sensitive skin prone to flake with new products so was worried but this is great. I started slowly once a week or so but now up to 3-4 times a week at night. My skin always looks better in the morning after using this - brighter and smoother
    fiyatına değer worth the price
tek kelime ile çok güzeldi hayran kaldım zein obagi ile kıyaslama yaparsam bir tık kremsi yarısından daha ucuz olmasına rağmen çok başarılı ama dr dennis daha güzel bu retinolden In one word I was blown away. If I compare it with Zein Obagi, the cream is half the price yet it still performs really well, but Dr. Dennis is much better than this retinol
    Listen to the instructions
I really like this. My previous retinol was the Ordinary's advanced retinoid (original one) and I do find this one way more effective, at a cost: you need to tread carefully and really build slowly, otherwise, you'll get irritated skin. I have had it for a month or so now and still only use it once every two days, mixed in with other creams. I do find that it has smoothed my forehead wrinkles and has evened out my overall complexion a lot. Another benefit is that you don't use a lot. Would recommend for non-retinol naive people.
    Me gusta!!
Me gusta mucho este retinol, más que otro de gama alta P.....C...,pero llevo más de un mes de tratamiento nocturno y parece que se han frenado sus efectos en mi piel... seguiré utilizándolo a ver qué pasa.... I really like this retinol, more than another high-end, but I have more than a month of night treatment and it seems that its effects on my skin have slowed. I will continue to use it to see what happens.
    Too strong for my skin
It makes my skin look and feel amazing. But I cannot get over the irritation it gives my skin. I tried increasing it gradually over time, but I cannot find a way to avoid the irritation. This product is definitely too strong for my skin.
    Photoshop
First time using retinol (26y/o) and this product transformed my skin overnight. Quite unreal waking up with smoother and tighter skin after one use only. I use it once a week and follow up with a hydrating routine the following night.
    Very good!
It is my first retinoid. And it is amazing! My skin became so soft and beautiful. My skin adapted very quickly!
    Amazing retinol
This is the first retinol I’ve used exclusively and consistently because I just love it so much. Luckily I’ve had no reaction like I’ve seen a few people say. The very first morning after I used it my skin was GLOWING. Highly recommend, it’s the best retinol I’ve ever used
    Perfect for me
I personally find many DE products harsh on my sensitive/combo skin but for some reason this product works like a charm. Every other day for the first week and no irritation so I went to 5 days a week (sometimes twice a day) and no irritation. Intensely moisturizing. I think I got lucky with my first retinol experience. I stick to the pea size every time.
I think it’s too strong for me
This has given me bumps under my skin and I thought it would improve, but instead I started breaking out. I always had a good skin but this has made it worse. I used a slightly lower concentration before for over 6 months. I wouldn’t purchase it again
    Worth every penny
This product is excellent and retinol itself is a miraculous ingredient. At first my skin was irritable and dry but after some weeks it was back to normal. Now my face is clear, my severe acne is under control and my face is almost perfect. Also, it is a great value for money, it should last more than 6-7 months. I just love it and what is does to my skin.
    Love it
The first retinol product that has made a difference to my skin. I’ve been using 2-3 times a week at night for a month now. Occasionally see a little peeling but my overall skin texture has really improved. I do think my skin is highly tolerant of retinols.
    Awesome retinol product
This is a potent but awesome retinol product. My dehydrated, combination, acne-prone skin loves this. It helps to purify pores and clogs gradually for sure, so be patient! This works better for me if I put on a light layer of moisturizer over (I use the SK II RNA cream and I love it so much!) before bed. One tube should last quite a while, so great value for money. Will repurchase! :)
    Good Product
I haven't tried any other retinol products before so I cannot make any comparison. However, my skin enjoys this and I have never had a very bad reaction to this despite the high percentage of retinol. Would I repurchase? If I don't find anything of similar quality for a better price... I will :)
    Perfect
I just love this product! The good news is it didn't breakout my acne prone skin!
    Awesome
Perfect retinol product. Zero irritation. Not thick or heavy. Just the right choice!
    What a gem
I'm no stranger to retinol/retinoids so I was a bit hesitant to spend this much on something I could buy much cheaper. But boy, has this made a difference. My skin has a much smoother texture and just looks great. I mix it in the morning with B-Hydra, C-Firma and virgin Marula oil, followed by Protini and SPF. Don’t forget your SPF when using Retinol. Great product! The entire DE range is amazing.
    Good choice
It's a very good cream, even the sample size made a difference.
    So good
I love A-Passioni. I started with Luna a few months ago. Mix it with Protini and Virgin Marula Oil and make sure that you just use a pea size amount of a passioni. No irritation. I‘m using it over two months now and my skin looks great.
    Too strong and too irritating
I‘m not really new to vitamin-a products but this one irritated the hell out of my skin. I was quite exited when it was released and ordered it right away... but now I‘m really disappointed as I wasted my money on this. My skin got insanely dry, flaky, raw and patchy. Everything I used afterwards burned and stung like hell, even with plain water and just touching my face. After a few weeks you‘d think your skin would get used to a vitamin-a but it never did. Won‘t buy this again.
    Passioni
I love this product! I have sensitive skin and I got a little peeling with it so I slowed it down and used it 2/week and always with oil after the night cream.
    Amazing
I absolutely love this product. I can use it every other night and my skin isn’t peeling or irritated at all.My skin looks glowing and clear. This is now a holy grail product !
Perfect for first time retinol users
Nice cream. Goes on smoothly and has a nice texture. Love the packaging. As I’ve used lots of retinol products before this is on the mild side. So great if you're new to retinols! Had no irritation whatsoever as I’ve seen on some other reviews!
    Great!
Being the first time when I tried something with retinol I was a bit afraid about all the side effects moreover after reading some comments. After the first application, my skin got much smoother and glowy. So far I think it's a great cream.
    Loving this
Like some other reviewers, the first time I used this my skin peeled (mildly) and I had some redness. But I now find that if I use a pea sized amount and follow with a moisturizer, it's absolutely fine. I've had it around six weeks and use about three times a week. I've seen really good results on my forehead and in general skin smoothness and radiance. I had used Luna Oil by SR before and it's definitely stronger. Will definitely repurchase this (though it lasts for ages). I had bought the A313 retinol cream from France (the one that replaced Avibon) and I would say the results are identical. Though this is easier to use because of the texture
    Try a sample first
I get it, this is retinol. But I've been using retinoids (TO and Sunday Riley) for a year and was not ready to get red, blotchy, bumpy and flaking skin overnight. There's no living place on my face.
    Beware of red skin
I have to agree with Ciara (and others): this retinol cream destroyed my skin. It was red, flaky, and super sensitive (even touching the skin was unpleasant). I used the cream very sparingly and waited for two weeks to see if the peeling would stop and new skin would appear, but no luck. My skin went back to normal after a week of discontinuing use and calming Avene creams. I am used to retinols (I used a couple of retinols from other companies for years) so I didn't expect such a strong reaction. My advice is to try a sample first and see if your skin can tolerate it.
    1st Timer
This is my first experience with retinol. I was very nervous about adding retinol into my skincare regime. It’s been 3 weeks and I’ve been taking it slow using it only twice a week. Good news is there is no redness, peeling which is a good thing. Best applied with moisturiser for ease of application. No visible results yet, but so far so good. Will keep on going.
    GAMECHANGER!!
I have always been a skincare fanatic and this is literally the only product that has actually changed my skin. Patience required for the irritated/peeling phase but stick with it.. you won’t regret it. Also lovely combined with other DE products.
    Game changer
    Love it!
    Amazing!
Absolutely love it. I do have a very dry and sensitive skin. Thin like a paper but this works magic on me without irritating my skin. Thank you DE ❤️
    Awful
Awful, awful, awful. Burning skin, look like I’ve got eczema. Painful, red skin, can’t even tolerate cotton wool.
    Not for me
I had 1 sample of this and first it was ok. But I tried it another time and now I also have red burning and peeling skin. It looks horrible, like it's extremely dry and it hurts. Normally I have sensitive and dry skin and surprisingly had no problems with other Drunk Elephant products (Baby-facial is strong, but never had red skin or anything). Also I disliked the sticky consistency and can't imagine using a tube, since I mostly have issues with it. I'm glad I tried it as a sample first. So it's not for me.
    AMAZING!!!
This product is everything! I've always had pretty good skin, due to genes and me taking good, consistent care of it. However lately have been experiencing these irritating small white heads around my jawline that would immediately come to head, but once one was gone another would pop up. Tried everything - Aplha H Liquid Gold, TLC Framboos, SR Luna Oil, SR UFO Oil and although all these products are still great and have made a difference, how ever this one is next level, THIS is the one that BANISHED them foor good! I started very slowly, 1 time per week, mixing it with B Hydra and Protini / Marula on top. When I am not using this, I use my other holy grail Good Genes. I have experienced very slight peeling/dryness after 2-3 days of initial use but now it is all gone and my skin - no pesky whiteheads, smooth texture, glowing, beautiful skin tone, pores minimized to the point they do not exist and my smile lines begin to fade! I will never ever be without GG and this little miracle! Thank you Drunk Elephant!!!
    Very disappointed
I’ve been using Drunk Elephant products for two years now... I have very good skin for my age although it can be very sensitive. Thought I would give this a try as I turned 30 last year and so thought now would be a good time to introduce retional into my skincare routine.. Tried this once as directed and it completely burnt my skin.. I did not use this around the eye area, but somehow it also burned my eye area and caused my skin to be red raw and peel. It’s taken over three weeks for my skin to try and recover and it still isn’t back to normal.. Very disappointed and frustrated that I have spent so much money on a product I can no longer use...
    LOVE this stuff!
I have been using this product for a month now. I've read a lot of people on the reviews saying about the peeling and therefore stopping use after one/a few tries. Even though I have used retinols in the past, it caused my skin to peel for a good week and a bit. However, this is just the process of retinisation and once the skin had adjusted to it, it started showing incredible results! My skin is now more plump, hydrated, acne scars close to gone, large pores diminished and the smoothest skin texture I have ever had! Drunk Elephant has literally been life changing for me and my skin. I've never gone so long without any breakouts or dry patches. In fact, I had combination skin, oily t-zone and dry everywhere else. However after using DE and moisturising properly, my oily t-zone is now normal as is the rest of my face! I would highly recommend these products and would also suggest giving them at least a month to show enough of a change. Take pictures! Sometimes you don't realise until you look back at how bad your skin was when you started to see how much of a difference there is! Try sample sizes if you do not wish to spend the money in one hit! Or the littles! That's where my obsession started.
So far so good, hoping for even better
I have a very complicated skin. Sensitive, dehydrated, oily... I started using the Littles in October, bought the full-size products in November and, since then, only used DE products on my skin, including TLC Framboos every night (with Marula oil). I ordered the Retinol in January, even if I was a bit scared because of some reviews mentioning breakouts, peeling skin, etc. I started three weeks ago. A little A-Passioni with one pump of B-Hydra and two drops of Marula oil. the morning after, my skin was clear and I continued my regular routine, only applying my Retinol mix two times a week (Sunday night/ Wednesday night). I think it is the right way to go: slowly, and carefully. Using other DE products really helps applying the cream and I'm very happy when I see the results on my skin. I think I will carry on this way for another month (or two) and then, I will try a "three nights a week" routine. Give it a try, it is worth it :)
    Peeling, dryness and bleeding.
I understand Retinol can be irritating but this went beyond for me. I used as instructed. After using only once a week for three weeks I started to experience very painful skin, it was sore to touch and noticeably drier. Overnight my skin peeled and even bled in some areas. If you are used to Retinol then this may work well for you but for me this was awful.
    Retinol Transformed
Imagine a 1% Retinol without irritants. This is what you're getting. Is strong yet gentle at the same time. Perfect for both day or night. I've been using this for over 3 months now and I would expect this to last at least 8 months. It's really wonderful. No irritation. No breakouts. Just more even looking skin. Win.
    Great, but give it time.
I have used all the acne products there are since my teens. Now in my mid-30s my skin isn’t as bad but I still suffer from cystic acne (mainly hormonal), scars, and fine lines. Years ago after using Roacutanne, I was prescribed Retin-A and my skin never looked better. However, after having children my skin was ruined again. I bought this in Aug2019 and have used it consistently every night. The first four months were horrific but knowing that retinol causes breakouts etc, I wasn’t too worried. My persistence paid off and now my skin is so clear, even my scars are fading. You must stick with it though, even when your face is looking it’s worst! One tube has lasted me from August to April with nightly use.
    Uau
I was SOO afraid to buy this because of the negative reviews... I really wanted to start retinol since I just stopped breastfeeding and I'm 33 with acne scars and some fine lines but my skin is very sensitive and dehydrated because of the chemical peels I have done and the AHAs I use but I had no bad reaction at all, I'm using twice a week yet with caution but so far I love it and my skin looks more even when I wake up! Still too soon to tell but I'll update this in a few months!!
    Be careful
As a Mum of a baby and toddler, I barely recognise myself these says and my face is really showing signs of sleep deprivation and general neglect. I listened to a podcast that concluded the only skin saving products worth investing in are vitamin A and a good spf. I have used many skin care brands (mid range to more expensive) and wanted to try a retinol cream. A Passioni has great reviews for the most part and so I took the plunge (I had been using another vitamin A cream for the month before to get my skin used to retinol). I put it on my face the night it arrived and (yes you’ve guessed it), the next morning I was bright red, flakey and in a fair amount of pain. The hardest thing was that any of my hydrating moisturisers that I tried to apply made my skin burn. I resorted to coconut oil which also stung, but less severely. Because my skin felt so dry all of my finer wrinkles appeared more defined, especially where my skin was thinner (laughter lines and around the eyes). Even my less than observant husband was shocked. Now... at this point I have to admit that I used more than a pea sized amount, but the instructions from the brand are not clear enough. This is an extremely strong cream and should be used only by experienced retinol users. If you are thinking of purchasing, I would get a sample and do a skin test first. I would also be really careful about which products to mix it with. After some research, I have used CeraVe face moisturiser to calm my skin. The hyaluronic acid apparently works well with retinol. Call me completely nuts, but once my skin has recovered, I am going to try it once more using only the pea sized amount, mixed with the CeraVe moisturiser. If I get better results, I will remove this review and write another! Please please do not mess with this product!!!! Caroline Hirons has a very accurate review of A Passioni. Look it up!
    Really improved my texture!!
This is the first review I have ever written despite using countless beauty/skincare problems during my young life. I had fairly horrible cystic acne during my teenage years that still gives me loads of problems (occasional breakouts, lots of pigmentation issues, etc.). Particularly I began to notice that my skin was so textured and “ruined” that even when I didn’t have any active breakouts, it still looked like I did. I bought Apassioni while trying some products by Drunk Elephant: I loved some, I liked all, but this (maybe along with Protini) is the one I can’t imagine finding a substitute for. While you can probably found other good vitamin c serum/chemical exfoliant, there is NOT another retinol like this out there. My skin still has some problems (mostly due to picking, I’m OCD and have a really hard time stopping) but my texture improved SO much. Like someone-born-with-outstanding-genes much. My skin has the general look of a Snapchat filter, to be clear. Also doesn’t break me out nor dry my skin (just use moisturizer and don’t use too much at first). I’m on my third bottle and if I’m out of money I skip on other Drunk Elephant stuff for dupes but never on this. Give it a try!
    Strong & Effective
Absorbs quickly, no fragrance (perfect for those with sensitive skin.) Can be very strong upon first use so don't underestimate this. Only a small amount (or: pomegranate bud) is enough. Works perfectly when used with the TLC drunk elephant chemical exfoliant. The only small observation I made is the colour of the cream. The yellow can transfer onto clothes. Be careful upon application.
    Too strong for me
After adding C-firma and C-tango to my holy grails I picked up the courage and splurged on this retinol. As per instructions worked my way up from once every 2 weeks to once a week. Unfortunately my skin just cannot deal with it. I have combination skin with very sensitive cheeks, and they stay red for 1-2 days after using this. Tried it on its own, mixed with DE cream, mixed with oil. My skin is used to using the 2% retinol by TO on a daily basis. Have given DE a break and skin is back to normal. Disappointed as I was ready to love this.
    Drunk Elephant A-Passioni
My first foray into retinol and I think I should have started at a lower percentage as my skin didn't tolerate it too well. I persevered but my skin just stayed red and irritated when I used it as directed. I must have used a vat of healing balms just to stay the drying effects. Oh well, lesson learned!
    Amazing
I’m in love with this product! I had no problem from the first use and I have sensitive skin and now I use it 4 times a week! Totally recommend!
    Best ever Retinol
I have used this product for quite a few months and was extremely pleased with the results. I then tried another retinol product and although it was perfectly ok it was nowhere near as good as Drunk Elephant one. My skin is smoother and plumper when I use this - it is also brilliant at zapping spots. I have now bought another tube and I will look forward to using this from now on. It also lasts for ages.
    Like it!
I’ve been using this for a month or so now and I’ve had no adverse effects. A slight amount of peeling but nothing more. I use a pea size amount every couple of nights and follow up about half an hour later with a moisturiser. My skin definitely looks better already and I look forward to seeing it improve further.
    Retinol
This retinol cream is amazing. It does wonders for my skin and is definitely worth the money. Will buy again!
    Worth the irritation
I waited a few weeks before writing my review because I was told that irritation can take up to 3-4 weeks to appear, well it did, but I'll still continue using Drunk Elephant A-Passioni. I'm 55 with normal skin and an oily T zone. I never had acne or any serious issues but at my age, I wanted to give my skin a kick-start. This one did the trick. Yes, my skin went red and the sides of my cheeks did peel somewhat, but nothing a good, soothing cream can't fix. The glow is there, but with continued use I'm hoping the pores on my nose disappear too. Stick with it - it's worth it.
    Excellent cream
Wow. This is such an amazing cream. I have no words. I have had good skin all of my life with hardly any issues or struggles though I was curious if this could make my skin look even better and see if It could make my skin just that little bit smoother. WOW! This really works. I can’t believe it. The little bit of texture and visible pores on my skin are almost gone. I did not think that would happen. I had previously used a retinol from a different brand it made no difference. This cream combined with a serum or serum first and then this cream are a perfect combination. Yes you really have to slowly integrate this into your routine. When your skin is used to it it will be your best friend. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could.
    Brilliant retinol!
I have been using this retinol for over 3 months now, a little goes a very long way. It will probably last me for at least half a year more. I have no problems with packaging. This retinol is amazing!! No irritation, some dryness to the skin in the beginning, but now fine. I am 38, everybody thinks I am 28. My skin is super smooth, plump, no wrinkles. I use 2-3 times a week at night only. It doesn't make my skin sensitive to the sun, but I use powder sunscreen during the day. Before this, I tried Paula's retinol booster which was good, but didn't make much change to my skin. I also tried several other brands but this one is the best.
    Great for Sensitive Skin
I freaking love this! Nothing I have ever used has made such a difference in my skins appearance! And everything without irritating my super sensitive skin! I do seem to have bad luck with DE packaging though cause my tube keeps squirting product after I've squeezed some out and want to close it, which wastes product and gunks up the cap.
    100% effective
I used this and I saw a difference after the first night. I had a huge growing pimple too and it quickly made it ready to be popped and 2 days later... without any mark left. This one, in conjunction with the TLC Framboos, is amazing. I alternate them every other night.
    Amazing!
Love, love this retinol!! Highly recommend it!
    Amazing product
This product is perfect for all skin types. It’s amazing for acne and wrinkles.
    No more textured skin
I've been using this since it first came out. At the beginning, I used it once a week but now I've moved to every other day. It's made my skin so smooth and clear. Any dark spots I've had have cleared up and I don't get any more new spots. Also, it clears up blackheads amazingly well. I'm sure the tube will last me over a year or two, since it still looks full and I've already had it for 4 months. Just to note at the beginning, it did make my skin quite flakey but I have pretty dry skin and it was winter. I just used lots of thick moisturisers and it went away quickly. This product is definitely worth the money, my skin has never felt this good before. It's become a staple in my skincare routine.
    Good pick!
I've been using it for a months, 2 times a week for the first three weeks, 3 times a week on the fourth week. No irritation for now and my skin looks so much better (clearer, brighter, less blackheads...) ! I will absolutely buy it again !
    Not for me
I've been using strong retinol for about 3 years now, as a Drunk Elephant lover despite the price tag, I was so excited when this one came out. Unfortunately it irritated my skin. My skin was burning, peeling and broke out so much ! Not a good experience.
    Just bad.
This product is a big NO from me, I've used retinol before and my skin showed good results but with this one I had so many problems. Redness, sensitivity and burning are the worst one. I'm really disappointed in them after that and would not purchase anything else, there are other companies on the market so I'll spend my money elsewhere. I'm sorry for the amount of money which I spent because that was the worst skin product I've used so far.
    Great results
This is my 2nd time to try retinol, I was put off the 1st time years ago with different product. I really love this and I am thrilled with my skin. I use it about 4 to 5 times a week on clean dry skin and leave it on for 20 minutes before my moisturiser. I've never had any bad reaction and I will definitely continue with this one!
    A really good Retinol
If your skin responds well to Retinol, then you'll absolutely love this. Contrary to some of the reviews here, I find it quite mild. I prefer stronger mixtures for overnight use, but this one is great (for me!) during the day. Perhaps if you have lighter skin you might want to be careful with daytime use, but I have no issues there. I have mature, dry skin, but I noticed only a bit of peeling the first 2 or 3 times I used it. To anyone having sensitivity issues with it, I suggest easing it in, using a *tiny* amount - like less than a quarter of that they suggest - and diluting it with a bit of your favorite oil.
    Excellent retinol
This is my first experience with Retinol and I m really happy to try it. No redness, no irrigation. For my skin improvement, I do not see any changes so far!
    Excellent
There is no redness, peeling. Great Retinol Cream. Love it!
    Don’t know about this one
I really have doubts. My skin gets sensitive after using this and for me that’s not the problem. The problem is that my makeup the next day is a nightmare to put on.
    Nice retinol cream
I do like this cream, it absorbs quickly, no irritation. I normally use some facial oil right afterwards, eg Marula oil or Sunday RileyJjuno oil. However, I can’t comment on any skin improvement as frankly speaking I personally never really see any caused by any retinol skin care on me....but most likely it’s just me.
    So bad!
I was really looking forward to trying this as I had read great reviews about it, and I absolutely love the TLC serum, B-hydra serum and Marula oil from this range. However, this has destroyed my skin!! I followed the directions exactly. I used it sparingly and with the B-hydra serum once a week, and SPF50 everyday. My skin first started to peel off, then it became so sensitive and red and sore, I have had to stop using everything and switch to Zelens recovery balm. It also cause huge boils on my cheeks and chin that are not healing well. I would not recommend this product at all!!
    Unreal
So this is amazing now I have figured out how to use it properly. if I left a review after my first go, then it would have been the same as SHELL's review. I use it once a week and sparingly and I make sure my eyes and neck are thoroughly protected with a barrier. The effect is stunning, my skin is clear, and smooth and feels like glass. I almost feel like I never need another salon or home facial again as it is so so good. The skin does peel off but it is so light and soft and non irritating. Please figure out how to use it properly otherwise you will have a bad reaction. if you do, don't be put off, just educate yourself and try again as it works like a dream.
    Great!
I absolutely love it and you can see the difference!
    fantastic
    You will love it
    Everything and more
This cream is the best thing that has happened to my skin, it truly transforms it overnight. The only thing I will say is to be really careful you're not putting it anywhere near the eye area as it will get sensitive.
    Strong but nice
I am finding this fine to use, better than Paula's Choice :-) Sadly I can't say the same about the c-tango eye cream which gives me red lumps and bumps and a sore rash so I've just had to buy Estee Lauder to sooth it! I'm devastated and very confused as this retinol is great. Moral of my story is probably buy the Littles and try them all 1st:-)
    Amazing
Until the age of 22 I had pretty much perfect skin: baby soft, even skin tone, very rarely getting a spot. Then it all went downhill, hello adult acne. I've tried sooo many products since then, I think all combined I've spent a fortune - to no end. I was considering getting some proper laser treatments or medication, but then I saw Drunk Elephant was launching in the UK and I thought, one more try, and I ordered the Littles and A-Passioni."Thankfully" not all products worked for me, otherwise I'd have a VERY expensive skin care routine. But the things that worked, oh my goodness they did WONDERS to my skin. These are the TLC and the B-Hydra serums along with A-Passioni. For the first time in four years I'm once again confident about my complexion. Yes, these products are expensive, but to me they are worth it if it means I have clear, bright and soft skin.
    Drunk Elephant retinol cream
I have been using this product for 2 months, I don’t use every single night but it’s a solid every 3-4 evenings. It takes about 2 weeks to see the changes. I could feel how smooth the texture of my skin has become. My pores are much small now. Love it.
    Terrible
Just used one time, terrible experience, my skin was so red and peeled for more than one week, I don't know why this cream was launched with the possibility of these effects...first time in my life and I used so many brands...
    Caused breakout
I don’t have sensitive skin, and have used Retinol before to wonderful results. So was shocked to find the skin badly irritated after one use. Because it was red and patchy, so I left it to rest for a few days before trying again. The second time I used it, it again caused a red rash and I woke up the next day with breakouts. I haven’t had breakouts in a decade, so super annoyed. Have returned both the Retinol cream and the Drunk Elephant eye cream I ordered with it, as I would rather not risk it with the brand.
    Amazing
Such a great new addition to the line. I started out using this around two times per week to ease myself into it. I mix a pea sized amount with 4-5 drops of the marula oil and that's it. My skin is noticeably more even and clear the next morning. I haven't had any reaction to it whatsoever and I have sensitive skin. I love it so much so I might try upping my usage to every two nights and then use the b-hydra, tlc and lala on the alternating nights. Love love love this.
