A high-performance multi-action exfoliator, AMELIORATE's Smoothing Body Exfoliant has been painstakingly formulated to encourage superficial skin-refinement and exfoliation within the skin's surface. Born out of one woman's frustration, AMELIORATE's creator Annette was desperate to transform her 'chicken skin' arms. Having suffered from Keratosis Pilaris from an early age - a remarkably common condition which causes skin to appear rough, red and bumpy due to an excess production of keratin (an essential part of skin's uppermost layers) - which results in the development of little 'plugs' or goose bumps, Annette decided to take matters into her own hands. Nothing she tried had lived up to its promises, which is why she set about developing an exfoliating treatment and skin-smoothing body lotion, to gently resurface and intensively condition. Together, they're a valuable therapy for sufferers of KP, as well as those who're plagued with dry skin conditions - so liberate your limbs and bare your skin with confidence.
Use 2-3 times weekly. Massage into DRY skin, then leave on the skin for a few minutes to ensure the Alpha Hydroxy Therapy works to its optimum, then rinse off.

Excellent
I got a free sample of this with my regular Ameliorate body lotion and it's great. You don't need much, particularly if you just target certain areas which I do (thighs, hips & backside) and when I wash it off in the shower I can feel how smooth my skin is straight away. Then after showering I use the transforming body lotion all over. The combination has made my skin feel better than it has in years. Love it.

Best product ever
I’ve had bumps at the back of my arms (keratosis Pilaris) for so long and some products help but not like this!! The first time I used it I could see the huge difference. I’ve used it 3 times now and I can say there is no bumps on my arms they’re smooth which I have never felt before like this.

Only thing that works
This is my magic product. Since finding this I have been able to get rid of my 'chicken skin' on arms and thighs that I have struggled with my whole life. Worth every penny.

Buying again after first purchase
This product suits everyone who has sensitive skin and really works well! though there's no smell on product, the function it has makes me want to apply forever! Definitely worth product to have if you want a smoother skin while keeping moisturized.

Best exfoliater I have ever used!
By far this is the best exfoliating scrub I have used. It’s so gentle yet it has made so much difference to my skin. I use this 2-3 times a week and don’t think I’ll be able to go without it! I use this mainly on my legs so the bottle can last a few weeks and you don’t really need to use that much for it to be effective. I have also been using the moisturiser with it which I’d recommend highly.

Great exfoliator
Great for fake tan removal/prep prior to fake tan application. I also found it effective in getting rid of keratosis pilaris on the back of my arms.

Works well
It feels more like a chemical body scrub than a physical one. The beads are tiny and there aren't many at all so I'm not sure how buffing this is but it does help get rid of dead skin. The cap does not click shut so water might get in the product. Not sure I'll repurchase, I'd rather get the lotion again.
