Aesop manages to be both beautiful and practical, a hybrid of old school and new tech disciplines. The range is balanced between nature and technology – the fact that the botanicals make it smell divine and the bottles look beautiful is a happy bi-product of being focused on the best strategy to create gorgeous skin. Removing make up, dirt and grime without aggravating skin, this leaves skin feeling balanced, refreshed and supple (never ‘stripped’ of moisture).
Description
A divine, fatty acid-rich formulation, this cleanser removes all traces of make up, dirt and impurities while nourishing and calming skin. This is a wonderfully practical product because not only does its avocado, sweet almond, rice bran and macadamia oil base melt all waterproof make up, but you can use it to give your face a lovely fingertip massage while you cleanse. How to use
Pour a small amount of oil into your hand, add a little water and it should turn into an emulsified milky liquid, which you then massage into your face and neck. This oil cleanser not only melts oil-based waterproof make up, but you can use it to really give your face a good massage before washing it off with warm water. Suitable for all skin types, especially sensitive, dry and combination.

They changed something, the smell is different and not good
I use this cleansing oil for years, (7 years!) and always have a great fresh parsley smell. I guess I got a bad bunch this time because the smell is different in a bad way or maybe they changed the formula...

Just perfect
I use it to take off make-up before cleansing and to give my face a nice massage before bed. It does a great job and has a lovely relaxing smell. It's a large bottle and you don't need much so I think it will last a while.

Nourishing cleanser is perfect for dry skin
I have dry, sensitive skin and this product does an amazing job of cleansing the skin while nourishing it at the same time. I weirdly don't need to use any kind of face scrub anymore, as it seems this cleanser hits just the right balance of 'stripping' away from anything my skin doesn't need without harming the natural oils it does need. It's easy to use, lasts for ever and also works for removing make-up (although you might need something stronger for removing heavy eye make-up).
One missing star because as someone with VERY sensitive eyes, it can sting my eyes a little when I accidentally rub too much product in my eye (instead of around it...). When I say sting, I mean "when I literally rub it in my eye I need to blink a few times after rinsing and it's over" which is a thousand times better than most other cleansers and eye makeup removers.

Perfect cleansing and moisturizing in one
I just tried the sample of this (thanks for getting me hooked, Cult Beauty!!) and I am instantly impressed. It does remove all traces of makeup when massaged in, and after washing it off, my face was felt clean to the touch and was literally aglow. I can't wait to buy the full size. Aesop definitely produces the very best in skincare.

Not bad but not good either
I have dry skin. This product is not bad but not good either. I think there are better cleansing oils in the market especially at this price point. I going to use it up but I am not going to repurchase.

Love it
I tried a sample of this and I absolutely love it! I have used Sarah Chapman and Emma Hardie, which I also like but this is my favourite to date. Cleans the skin in sweep make up dissolved, brilliant.
