    • Why it's Cult
Aesop manages to be both beautiful and practical, a hybrid of old school and new tech disciplines. The bottles are brown glass, because it protects the product from degrading UV rays allowing them to use fewer preservatives. The range is balanced between nature & technology because that's where they've found the best results, the fact that the botanicals make it smell divine & the bottles look beautiful is a happy bi-product of being focused on the best strategy to create beautiful skin.

This product it thick in texture and a little difficult to just spread on your face. Dab little spots of it on your forehead, cheeks, nose, chin and neck and then rub in. It soaks in extremely quickly. It is also a brilliant quick cure for sunburn!

Aesop B Triple C Facial Balancing Gel Reviews

    Aesop B3C
It’s great, love it so much.
    Not worth the money
I bought this initially because the ordinary’s zinc and niacinamide was out of stock everywhere,& this had good reviews. It doesn’t do anything,it clumps when you rub it with your fingers otherwise it’s just a blob of glue.It sits on your skin then breaks apart if you try to use a moisturizer on it, or it’s like glue on your skin without nothing on it.Mind you this is around 400 SAR which is a shit load of money.Thank god the ordinary is back in stock, won’t be buying this expensive crap again.
Amazing! My skin never felt more nourished
It’s my second time purchasing this serum.. I love it. A bit pricey but totally worth it.
    Worth the money
Yes it’s very expensive. But it’s honestly worth every penny, I’ve been debating splurging on this for ages and so glad I finally did. I’ve seen a visible improvement in my hyperpigmentation and I’ve only been using it for a week, it makes my skin feel so soft and even and just generally better. I don’t get the comments about it being hard to rub in? Yes it’s a slightly more syrupy texture than most gel-based moisturisers, but I find the best method is to work in a little at a time and once it’s absorbed there’s no stickiness whatsoever. Magic in a jar!
    LOVE IT!
This is so good! I usually put it on at night because I put on so many different things, this is one that really skins into the skin and doesn't feel heavy. I have acne prone skin so that it really important to me that it doesn't clog my pores. When I wake up the next day my skin looks great, so fresh! I will buy this again, worth the money.
    Really love it
Even though I have dry skin, I really love this product. It’s perfect for hot summer when you need some hydration but don’t want to use any “rich” textures. It’s very lightweight and absorbs quickly. Skin feels hydrated and smooth afterwards. Also, I noticed that it helps to calm down sun irritation. Note: I use it only as a day cream
    Great for combination skin
I love this, it smells great and refreshes my skin. It is sticky - so be warned - but really does balance your skin out whether it be dry, oily, spotty or tight, it is a great fix for all! If you are looking for a fix to one particular problem this might not be your best bet but for an all-rounder, this is perfect!
    Boost of vitamin
This is hands downs the best face product I’ve ever purchased. Perfect for dull skin in need of a boost. Also, the “How to use” description given here is incorrect. The product should be warmed between palms before putting on the face. Otherwise, it’s a bit difficult to spread. On Aesop’s website, there’s a video on how to do it :)
I'm a sucker for gel products
This was a part of new regime I started following and it was recommended by CB beauty advisor, Lena. After 8 months of trying new products that didn't solve my problems nor match my skin type, I'm Finally satisfied. This gel is very very thick, but it will get absorbed very quickly. I noticed that If I put it while my skin is still damp with the AHA BHA Clean Toner by Mizon, I can slide it on nicely. My breakouts have stopped. My face looks plum and my blemishes are slowly fading away. I have a combination skin, that is quite sensitive. The latter is my morning routine, followed by thank you farmer sun screen spf 50. My night regime is the same time after cleansing, followed by DNA renewal regeneration serum, them the DCL Blemish hydrator.
    Sample nice, a bit weird
Got a free sample with recent order. Product description accurate - you can't "smear" this to apply it (I just finished a pot of Clarins gel, which you can so of course that's what I did) Anyway once you get over that weirdness it definitely feels calming and potent. At the very least a very good 'barrier' Wouldn't say there's enough wow factor to spend that kind of cash, however I should probably get another tester before too much judge-y-ness.
    Happiness in a jar
I have suffered and put up with rosacea for years. Having tried everything I could ever find only to be massively disappointed at every turn until I tried this. For me its incredible! My skin just drinks it in before I can even spread it around and the results are dramatic and oh so welcome. I wish I knew who to thank - I'm SO grateful for the improvement it has brought to the health of my skin.
My skin is a combination and it doesn't soak in fast, it takes around an hour or so, so definitely not a morning solution in my case. My personal feeling is that the applying process itself is not pleasant it's too thick and sticky and I'm constantly having a feeling that I missed some spots, although if you want to glue and style your eyebrows to your forehead it could be nice to use I guess. I'm using it for a month already and don't see any difference in hyperpigmentation so far. So for £85, I've got the bottle which does look cute and I got a basic moisturizing action somehow.
A magical potion in a bottle!
Fixed my hyperpigmentation and dark spots on my face within weeks. Love the texture and how it feels on the skin. Super refreshing and hydrating. Never used a vitamin c like this. Repurchased my 3rd jar!
    Can’t live without it!!!
    Can’t live without this gel!
    So far so good
So I started using this just a couple of days ago, and for me, it spreads out nicely. The key is to apply four dots (cheeks forehead and chin) and then gently spread them out in a patting motion. I tried a circular motion at first and it was exactly like most of the girls explained: a honey texture that won’t spread. Just pat it on and it’ll spread nice and even. My skin absorbed it really well, although I’m combination to oily. It also did not break me out, which is always good news for us very acne prone girls. I will update in a while about the result, as it is too early to tell if it’s actually doing anything.
    Amazing product
My breakout stopped when I use it for the first few weeks and immediately I recommend all my friends with acne concern because it worth the splurge. The gel texture may not satisfy everyone's preference. However, the effect is REAL. After a few weeks, I no longer feel anxious about my acne and pimples. Therefore, now I only use it as a rescue mask when I got severe inflammation. I love the lavender scent but sometimes mosquito loves it too.
    A pampering treat and remedy
I was skeptical of the brand, not to mention the product, at first but two colleagues recommended this and I decided to give it a shot. Firstly, it smells heavenly and is a pampering treat for the skin. I have no issues with the consistency as it sinks well into the skin without being sticky or oily. I usually apply at night straight after toner. It feels almost like a serum, moisturiser and mask built in one. Skin feels plump, texture more even, pores smaller, and slightly glowy in the morning. Breakouts are also slightly controlled though I have to give it more time to see if it really helps with the acne. I will buy this product again.
Hate this but I love this!
This is an expensive and very sticky, but I love it. The jar packaging which is unhygienic and I wish they change the packaging to something better. Why do I like this? It does wonder to my combination blemish skin. It leaves my skin hydrated and does not make me break out. If I wear this at night, my skin is glowing in the morning.
    Surprisingly Amazing
I got a sample of this product after my first order from Cult Beauty, and I have never heard of this brand before. I was skeptical at first, but it is just amazing for my combination skin (normal/oily). The consistency of the product is a bit greasy and hard to spread evenly, but the gel absorbs pretty quickly and my face feels silky smooth and glowing afterwards. Its a bit pricey, but I think I will indulge myself with this product anyway.
