The Matte Finish does exactly what it says on the chic bottle by taking your shiny hue from light-reflecting to velvety-smooth in one single stroke. Vegan and formulated with 80% bio-sourced ingredients, including sugar cane, corn, wheat and cotton — all of which are biodegradable – this matte mani hero is good to your nails and the environment.
After applying your favourite gel base coat and nail colour, apply the Green Flash Top Coat and cap the free edge of the nail. Place nails under an LED lamp for 1 minute under the 36W setting or 2 minutes under the 18W setting.

This is ok as a base for other polish but I don’t love it as a stand-alone clear polish. I don’t know if it’s done anything to repair my nail damage but it doesn’t seem to stay on long enough to have the chance. It chips quickly if it’s on by itself. It doesn’t take long to dry and it’s pretty smooth, which is good. I’m fine with it but I don’t know if I’d buy it again, especially over something like Nailberry.

Meh
I have damaged nails from SNS and hoped this would do the trick of repairing them. I'm sure it moisturises, which is good if that's what you're looking for, but I was looking for something to repair and strengthen - maybe that was my mistake

Never tried this make before, but found it a bit grainy going on plus had to keep taking off to re apply, and my nails haven’t got any betterÂ

Helping to repair
My nails have become very weak and easily split due to iron deficiency and work (jeweller). This is definitely helping strengthen and my nails are no longer flaking. There is a persistent split in my thumbnail which I think needs extra help so will try the oil too. Really keen to try nail colours from this brand too.Â

I have a few base coats and I think this one is pretty good so far. It makes my nails strong and it does dry fairly quickly.Â
