Dispelling the myth that oils and oily skin can’t play nicely together, this luscious balm is formulated with niacinamide to help balance skin and control oiliness. What's more, a complex of barrier lipids plus olive fruit, sea buckthorn and rapeseed oils cosset sensitive skin to leave it hydrated and silky-soft. Coupled with its velvety texture and cute butter block packaging, this cleanse is anything but basic.
Scoop a pea sized amount onto dry skin and gently massage in circular motions. Add a splash of warm water to emulsify and rinse thoroughly. Follow with your preferred second cleanse.

This cleansing balm is good, it removes makeup but I feel like it's not the best cleansing balm ever. Furthermore, the packaging looks like it contains a lot but is not useful for many uses, because it contains little product. I feel like there's always a little bit of makeup left, when I should be removing it all.

Impressive!
I am so impressed with this formulation - I love to use cleansing balms as my 1st step cleanse of an evening to remove makeup/spf before going in with a 2nd cleanse. I can be very picky about my cleansing balms, as I like them to be hydrating but not leave any oily residue behind. This balm cleanses away the day perfectly, leaves my skin feeling nourished and clean without any oily remains! I usually use a cleansing balm of a higher price point, but this one is such a good price and does the job perfectly. The only downside to this is the packaging is quite chunky so not great for travelling and I do have to pop an alternative cleansing balm in my bag if I'm going away - would love it if this came in a travel size so I can continue to use on the go.

So good for the price point!
I’ve tried so many makeup cleansing balms from low to high end! And I really like this one! It really broke down my makeup and left my skin feeling clean but not stripped! I was a little hesitant about it having fragrance but my skin has been absolutely fine with! If you’re looking for something you can also grab in Boots, go for it!Â

Luxury without the high price tag
I LOVE this balm, it’s hydrating but in no way greasy and manages to remove my makeup including eye make up really well. I have double cleansed with this product many times particularly in the colder weather because it works so well and does not strip my skin. I love that it doesn’t contain Shea butter or coconut oil either which are big triggers for my skin (sensitive combination) as well. It feels like silk in my fingers and on my face and smells like a spa…it’s very quickly become my holy grail balm cleanser, highly recommend it & definitely buying it again…

I said I liked this in a previous review however I actually had a reaction to this product when removing my eye makeup. The inside of my eyelids swelled up and my eyes were extremely sore and bloodshot for days. I wouldn’t recommend this to someone with sensitive skin.

Gorgeous
This balm cleanser has a gorgeous texture, melting away SPF and makeup with ease. Smells lovely and washes off without any difficulty. It's the perfect first cleanse.
