Acting as a film-like layer over the skin, Avène’s Cicalfate+ Restorative Protective Cream nourishes and soothes easily irritated skin prone to dryness, helping to protect it from external aggressors.
Combining Avène’s Thermal Spring Water – for a surge of soothing moisture – with [C-Restore]™ (a post-biotic biotechnological patented active ingredient derived from Aqua Dolomiae), the barrier-replenishing cream helps to minimise feelings of discomfort and dryness for up to 48 hours. Topped with clarifying copper sulphate and zinc sulphate, the fragrance-free formula is suitable for the whole family.
Apply cream to the irritated area, massaging gently.

Irritated skin
Used to love this (old formula) but now this new one broke me out and irritated my skin. I have sensitive skin with a bit of rosacea and this has made it worse, more red and bumpy, and this rarely happens - so won’t be buying again and wouldn’t recommend this.

Holy grail
Thick but once you’ve rubbed it in, super hydrating. Some would say greasy but I like the mega moisture!

This broke me out SO BAD. I do have acne-prone skin, but it’s snnoying that a product that is meant to restore your skin ended up destroying mine. If you have normal skin I imagind this is great, but it sadly wasn’t for me :(.

Nice for night time
This is nice for night time use but a bit too heavy for day time. Nice for sensitive skin but I much prefer the recovery cream over this one

It broken me out so bad! I have acne-prone skin and didn’t realise shea butter was an ingrediant - don’t reccommend at all. Shame as I wanted to love it :(

Kept next to my bed, I use it as hand cream and on my elbows. Very effective.
