Versed Stroke of Brilliance Brightening Serum Reviews

    It's ok ...
I used up the whole bottle but I really didn't see any difference in my skin. It felt nice and hydrating but just didn't deliver what it said it would do.
    Not sticky
I have only used this vitamin C serum for a couple of weeks so I haven't seen a change in my hyperpigmentations yet, but it's lovely to use as it isn't sticky at all and sits nicely under my moisturiser as well as foundation.
    Just ok
I use this product everyday in the morning but it's just an ok product. It does brightens my skin but I don't notice any difference with my hyperpigmintation spots. Will not purchase it again.
    good
I think it brightens but I don't have hyperpigmintation spots so I don't know if it will help with that.. I gave it 3 stars because I didn't see major change in my skin but I don't think it's a bad product
    Good for beginners
This serum instantly brightens the skin, it is a vitamin C derivative soo I consider this to be good for beginners. Since it doesn’t have much of a scent it doesn’t feel like you have applied anything on the skin so I sometimes reapply. I noticed a bit of brightening after a couple of uses but nothing remarkable apart from that!
    For acne scars/hyperpigmentation
If you're looking to buy this for scars/hyperpigmentation, don't waste your money. The ingredient list looks great but after 4 months of daily use, this has not made ANY difference to old scars. It's also really sticky so not a nice consistency. It's a no from me.
    Disappointing.
Having used Drunk Elephant's C-Firma for the last couple of years, I wanted to try a vit-c serum at a lower price point and this Versed serum was so disappointing, even after 2+ months of daily use. It has a nice texture and is absorbed quickly, but that's all the benefits I could see. Virtually no brightening effect after it had absorbed, certainly no firming or strengthening. No difference to my summer pigmentation. Unfortunately won't be purchasing again.
    Yes and no
Been using this serum for my hyperpigmentation and brightening for about 4 weeks, to say it has changed a lot ..I cannot, also u cannot layer on top of it because it boils up, it's not compatible with moisturizers I can see the benefits from Vitamin C and Niacinamide and is a better alternative to other niacinamide products as it will not cause purging and dry skin but realistically the percentage of vitamin C is very low and I will not be purchasing this serum again that's because compared to other Vitamin C this is not as potent and takes way too long to see results
I have really enjoyed this product...
This is best for someone who is getting introduced to Vitamin C, because you won't notice it immediately, but I have been using it in the morning everyday for a month and I can see my skin getting more even.
    Meh
Nice texture to apply, but it smells awful! I'm also not sure if it's actually making a difference to my skin. I want to like this brand's products as they are so environmentally conscious, but I'm just not sure they're worth buying.
    Broke me out
This clogs my pores and doesn’t do much in terms of brightening my skin.
Nice product but not with revolutionary results
It's been my first trial of Vitamin C related product. I have seen some change in my face brightness but nothing mention worthy. Not sure if I will repurchase.
    Great!
A really good vitamin C treatment, especially considering the price. I was previously using the Glossier vitamin c serum and whilst that one is okay I much prefer this and it is much cheaper too. A great ingredient list, sustainable packaging and an ethical company! You really don't need a lot as well - the brand recommends 2 drops for the whole face and that is how much I have been using so I feel like this treatment is going to last way longer than most other serums I have used in the past!
    So so
The product is okay. It didn't blow my mind and it doesn't do much. You have to apply way too much to see that glow, there are way better products out there.
    So far, so good!
I bought this after looking for a budget Vitamin C serum. I had been using the (far more expensive) Glow Recipe vitamin C product and it did absolutely nothing for my skin apart from breaking me out and leaving me with more scars. I've been using this for the last few weeks and my breakout scars have faded considerably. Excited to try the rest of their range!
    Good serum
I have purchased this serum two times . it is good serum but do not expect any significant changes on your skin from it.
The Best Vitamin C Serum I Have Tried
I have been experimenting with Vitamin C serums for ages now and this is the best one I have used. My skin is brighter, my dark spots are gone and the texture of my skin is much smoother. It provides the nicest glow and my skin has changed for the best.
    Nice
It’s a nice serum that absorbs well into the skin and doesn’t negatively impact makeup. However, I’ve been using it for two weeks and do not feel it is as good a vitamin c as the Dr Dennis Gross or the Drunk Elephant. It seems to be doing little to improve my stubborn hyperpigmentation.
    OK but nothing special
This is my first Vitamin C serum and I have mixed feelings. I have now used the whole bottle and can't say that I can see any difference on dullness and/or hyperpigmentation, which was my main concerns. The product didn't break me out or irritate my skin and went on my skin very nicely. But I believe my skin would look exactly the same with or without this product...
Not the worst but not the best Vitamin C serum
This is not the best Vitamin C serum out there and not the cheapest...I suspect the percentage of Vitamin C is not as strong as well....it's average and good for people who would like to add to a normal skincare routine...but if you look for treating issues like hyperpigmentation or add more brightness go for vitamin C serums✌
    Nothing is as good
Nothing has made my skin as good as this serum. I was using the Ordinary Buffet before this and thought it was fine, but since using this I am GLOWING.
    Undecided..
I’ve been using this product for a few weeks now, but I honestly couldn’t say if it’s made any difference to my skin as I haven’t seen any significant improvements. It is however easily absorbed and sits nicely on the skin but that’s about it.
    Not impressed
Didn’t change my skin at all and is incredibly sticky.
    Not my product
Unfortunately did nothing to my skin, not as effective as it is presented. I will continue to use The Ordinary vitamin C Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2% oil with SPF if I use it in the morning.
This does nothing for my skin
This feels lovely when first applied but I’ve noticed no long term benefits to my skin. I’ve been a Vit C user for a long time but this was definitely one of the least effective ones I’ve tried. I much prefer the Oskia Vitamin C Capsules or the Ole Henriksen Truth range. I definitely would not repurchase.
    Highly recommend!
This is an amazing product. Really improved my skin and even the colour of my skin. Will buy it again.
    Not for me
I wanted to love this product so much since it has such a clean ingredient list and the price point is really good... I have dry sensitive skin and this serum dried out my skin so badly it left me peeling, I tried using it with my favorite oils under my moisturizer and over my moisturizer but every time I had the same results, peeling skin. I gave it three stars because the ingredient list is so clean and straightforward!
    Does what it says!
I have dry, sensitive and an uneven skin tone so it's hard to find a product that covers my skin issues! This worked a treat. The serum doesn't peel, it feels slightly sticky for about a minute, then it leaves a velvet touch to the skin. In just two weeks I've seen an improvement in my skin. Considering the ingredients in this product that's what I was hoping for and it didn't disappoint.
    Love it
This product really surprised me (in a good way). It really does what it says - brightens my skin and makes it look very healthy. I would definitely recommend.
