Combat dull, lacklustre skin with Versed's Stroke of Brilliance Brightening Serum. Boasting a cocktail of brightening and pigmentation-fighting plant extracts and antioxidants such as vitamin C, licorice root, palmaria palmata extracts and niacinamide, this potent serum firms, hydrates and strengthens skin.

A lightweight and non-tacky serum, this brightening and pigmentation-fighting formula utilises vitamin C (renowned for its brightening properties), licorice root, palmaria palmata extracts (that inhibit pigmentation), and niacinamide (a form of vitamin B3 that reduces the appearance of discolouration). Simply apply to skin morning and in the evening if you wish to help fade pigmentation and up your brightness levels.

Press 2-3 drops into clean, almost-dry skin. Let it sink in for two minutes. AM and/or PM after cleansing (and masking) but before moisturising.

Once open, use it up within 12 months for max efficacy. Unopened, it’ll sit pretty on your vanity for up to two years (though we know you won’t want to wait that long to dive in).

RECYCLE IT: Remove the cap, rinse out any residue, and toss the bottle in your recycling bin. The paper box should also be recycled. Toss the entire cap (including the dropper) in the trash.

Water, Propylene Glycol, Dipropylene Glycol, Methyl Gluceth-20, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Niacinamide, Citric Acid, Palmaria Palmata Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6, Phenoxyethanol, Xanthan Gum, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Glycerin, Curcuma Longa (Turmeric) Root Extract, 1,2-Hexanediol, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate.

Did not fix hyperpigmentation

Would not buy again. This neither brightened my skin nor fixed hyperpigmentation. I doubt the actives in this product are formulated in a stable way. It's strange they have packaged a vitamin C product (which oxidises easily) in an open bottle with a dropper. Can't imagine that the vitamin C works. On the plus side, it did not damage my skin. All it did was hydrate my skin a bit more.

It's ok ...

I used up the whole bottle but I really didn't see any difference in my skin. It felt nice and hydrating but just didn't deliver what it said it would do.

Not sticky

I have only used this vitamin C serum for a couple of weeks so I haven't seen a change in my hyperpigmentations yet, but it's lovely to use as it isn't sticky at all and sits nicely under my moisturiser as well as foundation.

The Best Vitamin C Serum I Have Tried

I have been experimenting with Vitamin C serums for ages now and this is the best one I have used. My skin is brighter, my dark spots are gone and the texture of my skin is much smoother. It provides the nicest glow and my skin has changed for the best.

Just ok

I use this product everyday in the morning but it's just an ok product. It does brightens my skin but I don't notice any difference with my hyperpigmintation spots. Will not purchase it again.

good

I think it brightens but I don't have hyperpigmintation spots so I don't know if it will help with that.. I gave it 3 stars because I didn't see major change in my skin but I don't think it's a bad product

Nice

It’s a nice serum that absorbs well into the skin and doesn’t negatively impact makeup. However, I’ve been using it for two weeks and do not feel it is as good a vitamin c as the Dr Dennis Gross or the Drunk Elephant. It seems to be doing little to improve my stubborn hyperpigmentation.

Good for beginners

This serum instantly brightens the skin, it is a vitamin C derivative soo I consider this to be good for beginners. Since it doesn’t have much of a scent it doesn’t feel like you have applied anything on the skin so I sometimes reapply. I noticed a bit of brightening after a couple of uses but nothing remarkable apart from that!

OK but nothing special

This is my first Vitamin C serum and I have mixed feelings. I have now used the whole bottle and can't say that I can see any difference on dullness and/or hyperpigmentation, which was my main concerns. The product didn't break me out or irritate my skin and went on my skin very nicely. But I believe my skin would look exactly the same with or without this product...
