THE FOUNDER’S STORY
A self-confessed obsessive of olfactory offerings, BORNTOSTANDOUT’s founder Jun Lim spent his childhood saving up his allowance to buy cologne. Each day he drenched himself in his signature scent making sure everyone could smell him coming. Not only did this fragrance give him confidence but a sense of identity that separated him from the rest. For the past two decade, Jun Lim continued creating an every-growing collection of niche perfumes to explore different identities and break free from the predictability of daily life. Then in 2021, he decided that collecting aromas was not enough, he wanted to create them. And thus, BORNTOSTANDOUT was born.
BORNTOSTANDOUT MADE IN KOREA
Made 100% in Korea (except for the perfume oils, which are sourced globally for creative formulation), BORNTOSTANDOUT’s creations are proudly made, filled, handled, packed, and shipped from Korea by skilled artisans who take pride in their work. Paying homage to its native’s craftsmanship, the brand crafts in small batches to significantly reduces waste while ensuring its perfumers maintain strict attention to quality and consistency.
