Stimulating collagen production while boosting elasticity, refining skin's texture and lessening the visibility of scars, dark spots and enlarged pores, the Retinol Reform is a hard-working treatment that's perfect for those on a mission to recover their skin's former radiance. A mighty blend of AHAs, PHAs and 9% lactic acid, the Lactic Acid Exfoliating Serum tackles dull visages prone to texture by gently — but effectively — munching away at dead skin cells to reveal smooth, bright and practically luminous skin.
Retinol Reform: In the evening after cleanser and toner, use on dry skin. Follow with a moisturiser. Start with 1-2 times a week, add a day each week, build up to using as often as your skin can tolerate.
Be sure to use a sunscreen daily (Shani recommends Supergoop). Retinol Reform is best used at night when your skin is in repair mode. Shani recommends using a Vitamin C serum during the day. Avoid using other AHA products on the same night as Retinol Reform.
Do not use if pregnant or nursing.
Lactic Acid Exfoliating Serum: In the evening, smooth 1-2 pumps onto clean, dry skin. For best results, wait 5 minutes before applying moisturizer. Cleanse skin in the morning, be sure to use a sunscreen daily. Avoid using other AHA products or Retinoids on the same night as Lactic Acid Exfoliating Serum.
Cleansing Serum: Moisten skin. Pump a dime size amount of serum into the hands and thoroughly massage into the skin to dissolve dirt and makeup. Rinse with lukewarm water and gently pat dry.

I bought this as I ran out of the retinol (which I love) and wanted to try the lactic acid. I'm very impressed with the lactic acid, it's active but incredibly hydrating. Cleanser is gentle and leaves my skin feeling supple and clean without being stripped.Â

Great little kit
Love this kit for travel and to test out the products. I'd tried the cleanser and retinol but ran out of the full size retinol so this smaller size was perfect for the time being as you only need a small amount. This was my first time trying the lactic acid and I didn't realise how much I was missing out. It's very hydrating and I've found all Shani Darden products to be great for my sensitive skin.Â

This set is such good value for money. I love all the products. The cleanser is gently but effective. The lactic acid serum is sublime, my skin is so dewy in the morning. The retinol is also superb. The formulations of all are amazing.Â

I’ve heard so much about Shani Darden and her amazing facials so was really excited to see this starter set. It’s the perfect way to test out her products before investing in the full size products. The cleanser is wonderfully foamy and glides on. The lactic acid is a great gentle exfoliator and the retinol reform is the hero. I’ve been using it for 3 weeks now and will be investing in the full size. Sold!Â
