My new favourite mineral protector!
5I nearly didn’t order as a result of some feedback, but I’m so glad I did. I applied for the first time in bright daylight - no white sheen, lovely light texture and a gorgeous aromatherapy scent. There is normally a compromise with mineral sunscreens which I am happy to make as I prefer to avoid the chemical route, but no compromise with this. A happy customer!

Fair SPF
3I got this SPF as the Perricone MD with SPF was out of stock. I have been using it with another moisturiser. It does a good job, and as I am fairly pale, the white cast doesn't affect my skin. It's an 'ok' product, but I would go back to my other products. This is drying and I do find myself needing more moisturiser because of it.

Not great
3Not for mature skin. It is very thick, leaves you looking very pale. Sadly, I will not purchase it again. I like very light texture and dewy for and this one is not.

Not THE one yet.
3I was so excited to try this one as one of my go-to beauty bloggers suggested it. I ordered it and after placing my order read on beautypedia that it contains fragrant plant oils that oxidise and cause skin damage. I received it today and can attest that it does have a slight "plant oil" scent to it, but it's not too strong. I have fair skin and it leaves a slight white cast on my face which makes my teeth look yellow. It's not bad, but because of the plant oils, I'll keep looking for the perfect zinc-based SPF. A good point is that it does NOT pill even when I applied a second coating. It's not sticky or greasy, so definitely matte like it states. I like it despite the slight white cast and plant oils, but it's not the perfect one yet....

Horrible
1Horrible white caste. I'm mixed race and always on the look out for good quality sun cream for the face. This definitely isn't it. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, person of colour or not. Horrible white caste aside, the texture is thick and gloopy. I tried so many different ways to apply it but this product clings to your skin and tugs on it as you try to spread it out. The only way I can think may be remotely better would be to apply it with a make up sponge - what a joke! Your money would be better spent elsewhere.

Leave a white cast and quite drying
1I thought this would be a good SPF for under makeup but I found it to be way too drying and it leaves a strong white cast. With makeup on top of it, my skin looks quite dull. I'd say this would be a good product for someone with oily skin and who doesn't mind the white cast. I had some irritation from over-exfoliation on my face and this irritated it even more. I really wanted to like this but it's not for me :(

Good for winter
5Got a trial size of this product and really love it! It's thick but easy to apply. I have combo/oily skin and this SPF works well in winter time. Compare to other mineral SPF this one not greasy at all, no need to powder. Overall good SPF for winter. I wish REN have SPF 50 with similar formula.

Worst Sunscreen ever!
1Thick, pasty and leaves a terrible white cast. Not mattifying at all as it claims. Gave it a few chances and every single time, this sunscreen is a fail!

Great mineral sunscreen for oily skin!
5I've been searching for a mineral cruelty-free sunscreen which contains good acids and hydrating ingredients, which will also give me a matte finish and sit well underneath my foundation. It seems like this one has it all. It leaves a slight white cast which disappears a bit later (and it doesn't really matter if you wear foundation on top of it). It could be a little harder to apply than other sunscreens since it's a thick one, but when I apply it on moist skin (on top of hyaluronic acid serum or moisturizer), it's not an issue at all. I love how matte it keeps my oily skin throughout the day. I am one of those shiny people, and this is actually helping my makeup last longer and look great until the end of the day. Would definitely buy again.
