Strong white cast, but...
5... it's to be expected of mineral-based sunscreen. My trick to lessen the white cast is to apply some light hydrating/moisturising cream a couple of minutes after massaging the sunblock into the skin. For my oily skin, it's a win as it leaves my face fairly matte and I've had no breakouts. My skin: fair, combination, breakout-prone (not quite acne, but it does get upset very fast if it doesn't like a product). Oh, and signs of aging ofc.

Disappointed
1Had high hopes for this but was disappointed as it left a white cast. I’m very fair skinned & it made me look even paler. Wish I hadn’t wasted £30.

I wish I liked it
2I had big expectations with this one as I love REN products. It really kept me matte all day, but it caused me breakouts unfortunately.

favourite sunscreen
5I've tested a few mineral sunscreens and this is the best. I put it on right after my moisturiser. It absorbs really quick without any smell, and it doesn't leave any white residues or a sticky feeling on your skin. It just feels like a very high quality product and I highly recommend it!

White cast effect
1I’m a big fan of Ren Skincare but this sunscreen is not my idea of a quick absorbing suncream. I was left with a tacky white cast that didn’t absorb at all. It didn’t look nor feel good. So sorry but never again on my face.

A favourite
5Best sunscreen I’ve used for my face. I’ve dehydrated, sensitive skin and was worried about the mattifying effects as I’d never go for that in a product but it’s perfect. Doesn’t pill on top of my other skin care. Major bonus that it’s recycled packaging and not harmful towards marine life. Will be repurchasing!

5This is the best SPF I have ever tried for the face. I have very sensitive skin and this doesn't break me out or make my face red. It gives your skin a lovely matte finish. + I love that the packaging is made from recycled plastic!

Great for oily/combination skin!
4I've been on the lookout for a mineral sunscreen that keeps me mattified all day long, especially in this crazy humid Barcelona weather. This doesn't have the typical sunscreen smell, rather a delicate scent that goes away in minutes. It goes well with my skincare routine and makeup (doesn't ball up). Best I've found so far... ♡
