Only for cold season

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

This is a really interesting product. Honestly I think it separates during the hot season so I always thought it was like a oil but only when the weather recently got cold and I realised the texture it like a lotion! It is now so easy to put on and still has a layer of moisture instead of just pure grease plus it does also work like a primer when my skin is really dry!

Counterproductive due to alcohol

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

It does not hydrate my skin. In fact, it dries my skin presumably due to alcohol as an ingredient in the product. This product is not worth the hype nor high price. Context: I am 30 with sensitive, combination acne prone skin.

Lovely product

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

As an overnight hydrating mask, I absolutely love this! Before apply this I use the Maqui berry drops and pat 2-3 pumps on top. This I leave on overnight as it makes the skin look quite oily. I can immediately notice softer and well hydrated skin! The only 'bad' points are the alcohol scent and the separation of this product.

Unique cosmetics experience, the effect doesn't last long

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

I got a sample of it as a gift from Cult Beauty. Totally no idea what was it when it arrived. I opened the bottle and it smelt really like a mix of vodka and butter (also visually) for me. So I just put it aside. Until one day, I urgently needed a travel-sized night mask, I googled it and put it on my face that night as a night cream. It still smelt like vodka+butter, but I really woke up with velvet touch skin. The great touch didn't last long but still felt great. Now I use it as a night mask, because it is quite difficult to absorb quickly as a cream. It is a unique experience as cosmetics. 2 additional tips for people consider purchasing it: 1) vodka+butter smell is very subjective. one of my girlfriends thought the smell is very soothing and reminded her of lavender. 2) Now the weather starts cooling down in Israel, the texture of the product turns from something like "lots of vodka + some butter" to "lots of butter + some vodka". So I guess it is better to be stored in a cooler environment.
