I usually use hourglass loose powder which is amazing but thought I’d give this a try as you get more for your money. It is just ok, it did not live up to the hype. It’s very visible on the skin and really clings to peach fuzz. Similar results to high street powder. translucent is a little dark for very fair skin

I’ve used this product for 10+ years now and it’s a certified ‘holy grail’. Even when I’ve ventured out to different loose powders, I always return to my trusty Laura Mercier. It’s a classic for a reason - finely milled, no flashback in photos, sets makeup down well on oily skin with minimal caking and creasing (a setting spray will help with this). It’s quite pricey, but a little goes a long way. It lasts me a long time, so cost-per-use is reasonable IMO.

My go to setting powder
