I had high hopes for the Farmacy Honey Milk Hydrating Essence, especially given its nourishing ingredients like buckwheat honey and royal jelly. The texture is lightweight yet milky, and it absorbs into the skin quickly without feeling greasy or sticky. It definitely adds a layer of hydration and softness, and the light honey scent is pleasant and calming. However, after a few uses, I noticed some small whitehead breakouts, especially on my right cheek. I suspected the essence might be the culprit, as it was one of the only new products introduced to my routine at the time. While it didn't cause any burning or immediate irritation, the comedogenic potential may not suit acne-prone or sensitive skin types like mine. Overall, I think this essence could work well for someone with dry or normal skin looking for extra hydration and a dewy glow. But if you're breakout-prone or have a compromised skin barrier, it may be best to patch test thoroughly or skip it altogether.
