Not what I was hoping for…
I really wanted to love this but this just did not sit well with my skin and I have tried everything to make this work. While it does leave a lovely glowy finish, it just seems to slip right off and doesnt set well at all.

Sadly, fell short of my expectations
I've tried a lot of new foundations lately that share the same skin-like finish, skincare-makeup hybrid premise. I bought this around the same time as the NARS Light Reflecting foundation and I use that 10x more than I do this. I can't tell if it's because of the shade match - I got 4 Neutral (which was already lighter than the shades CT recommended to me) and it's too dark, plus the undertone may not be the best for me. I think my skin looks dull instead of radiant. In contrast, I adore the shade match of the NARS Light Reflecting foundation (for reference, I'm using Gobi in both the NARS Light Reflecting foundation, Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation, and Cool Vanilla in Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation). I've wanted this foundation for some time now and have to say I've only ended up using it once. Again, to be fair, I can't rule out the possibility that it's only a problem with the shade. It does feel like it just sits on the surface of my skin like a mask though, but I can't rule out a bad skin day either. I guess I'll have to use it more to find ways to enjoy it, but I think it says something that I haven't felt like trying it again after the first time (especially given how excited I was to get it!) Pro: I like the packaging, it'll be easy to travel with and doesn't take up too much space!

I LOVE this foundation! It has been a long search, but I think I have found a product that I will use for a long time (or as long as it hangs around ;D). I have combination skin, and despite this being described as a “dewy” finish, my oily skin is not bothered by this foundation at all. It doesn’t make me oilier, and it doesn’t look so dewy that people think you’ve been caught in a rainstorm. It also blends nicely into my drier patches, without accentuating them at all. I can understand why the shade Neutral 5 is always out of stock, as it truly is the perfect NEUTRAL light/medium, without surreptitiously leaning too cool or too warm, like other so-called “neutral” foundations. Honestly, it’s just a lovely, medium buildable glowy foundation that just looks and feels very natural. I’ve found it applies best with a buffing brush, and maybe some light blending with a sponge. Truly beautiful!
