For an even, streak-free tan, ensure your skin is clean, exfoliated and free from any moisturiser. Pump foam applicator firmly. Apply liberally to an application mitt. Use a long, sweeping motion to apply to legs, arms and body. Use remaining residue on mitt to apply to face, elbows and knees. Rinse skin after one hour for a long-lasting dark tan. For the darkest tan, leave foam on skin for two-three hours. Shower with warm water and gently pat skin dry.

Really Good
I would say I'm an expert at-home fake tanner as I fake tan every few weeks year round and have done for years. Despite being naturally very fair I always use the darkest shade possible. I do think this one could be darker despite being 'darkest' as it isn't as dark as the regular mousse or Aero mousse by Bondi Sands in the darkest shades however the fact I only left this on for an hour it wasn't far off and I will probably continue to use this one as the fact I could leave it on for just an hour rather than 8 hours plus or overnight made up for the fact that it's not quite as dark. It also has absolutely no smell, not even a coconut one like the other products, literally no smell which I like even after developing / rinsing. What you can get from this in an hour is game changing to be honest but I do wish it was darker still! For reference I've dabbled with many fake tan brands over the years, St Tropez, Skinny Tan, Filter by Molly Mae and always come back to Bondi Sands because nothing compares.

I have used many brands over the decades. I have little time so drying speed, no mistakes and no transfer is important. I have very very very pale sensitive skin so always fake tan and spf 50. Because I'm pale when tan wears off it looks bad fast. It can also look orange. This does not. My favourite is Bondi Sands because it's hard to go wrong. I have used this product 3 times with 1 coat each time. In my opinion this is the latest and greatest from Bondi Sands. Appllication-dries down faster and so stops moving quicker. I just applied more and there were no overlaps or streaks when the guide is removed. Long strokes are much better eg ankle to hip. Smell is so much lighter and hardly there. Drying time-much much faster and much more comfortable. I could get dressed after applying in 15°C heat after 10 mins. Guide colour-quite dark on me but not too dark. Did NOT transfer onto cream blouse or light grey sofa without rinsing after 1hr. As it is a guide colour designed to be washed off the guide will move with water eg washing hands etc. Rinsing-I found it best to use my hands to loosen the guide colour as it didn't just wash away on its own completely, especially if left on for more than 1hr. Didnt use soap of any kind. Developing-you get a beautiful colour within the first hour. It's a bonus that it does deepen further over the next 4 hours or so even after rinsing. Result-A beautiful natural looking colour that faded gradually over 1 week showering daily. Reapplied after 1 week and the same result only a little deeper and still faded naturally. There was even fading and no patchiness and I didnt look orange. Sensitivity-I am very sensitive. I had no reaction or 'uncomfortable' feeling and was amazed by how soft my skin felt afterwards. So next time I used it on my face mixed with my skin care and again no reaction at all. No dryness after. On one occasion I didnt have time to remove the guide and applied liquid foundation over the top. It still came out perfectly and my makeup looked good. I applied 1 coat each time as I am very fair skinned. The bottle says 2 coats for the full effect. 1 is perfect for me and I like a deeper tan. Always used 2 coats of dark in the past. Recommend-yes for you fair skinned out there with beautiful sensitive skin. I have already repurchased it in case I might run out. Won't be without it this summer. Xx
