Hydrating
4Nice, lightweight face oil. I can definitely notice a glow after using it for a while. I wouldn't compare it to SR's Juno oil (wich is magic trust me) but definitely a nice starter oil.

Not quite what I was looking for
3I am so glad I purchased the trial size. I was really wanting a lux oil to seal in my products and unfortunately due to the strong floral smell I can handle it as it smells like my tulberloise Angelica jo malone fragrance - even my parent remarked how strong my face smelt! It’s not for me due to the smell - the texture is nice though.

Orchid oil
3I bought this as a trial size and I’m glad I did because I hate the floral smell, it reminds me of the Charlotte Tilbury perfume but not as strong. About halfway through the bottle, the rubber part of the dropper came away from the plastic top so it was quite difficult to open. I suppose the product itself is okay; it sinks in quickly but didn’t feel super moisturising. I had to use a lot more than the recommended amount but I think this might be because the directions are for the full size bottle which will have a larger dropper. I haven’t noticed any changes to my skin whilst using it. This would probably be ok for oilier skins but if you’re dry, you’d definitely need another moisturiser over the top to lock this in.

Lovely oil but....
5I’ve bought a full size bottle after trying out a sample. This oil smells divine really like scented oils so for me not a problem, but I have used oil that sunk right into my skin whereas 5-10 drops with this oil as recommended on the bottle may be a bit too much for me.... don’t get me wrong I love this for my dehydrated skin, but prefer Drunk Elephant Marula oil. This one however isn’t going to waste I know my mum would benefit from a large 50ml bottle so that is xmas present sorted for her.

5This smells gorgeous and makes my skin feel baby soft. It is very nourishing but sinks in relatively quickly. I have been using it every few nights and my skin always has a lovely glow the next morning. I have very sensitive skin and this hasn't caused any irritation. I am definitely keen to try more Herbivore products!
