This ultra-luxe hair mask from amika provides superior toning while strengthening, repairing, and hydrating for bright, healthy blonde. Perfect for blondes, silvers and greys, this potent mask helps bring blondes back to life. Packed with the brand's bond cure technology (which targets bonds prone to breakage), plant butters, vegan protein, and ultra-violet pigments for your strongest and brightest mane yet! It's clinically proven to significantly brighten, intensely hydrate, strengthen and repair hair while providing a healthy portion of hydration thanks to three types of plant butters.
If you are a natural (non-colour treated) blonde:
- in the summer months (when hair is more likely to become brassy), use the bust your brass shampoo + conditioner every other wash.
- use the bust your brass repair mask 1x per week in place of conditioner.
If you are a platinum blonde:
- to maintain tone, use bust your brass shampoo + conditioner every other wash.
- we suggest alternating bust your brass shampoo + conditioner with the kure shampoo + conditioner and multi-task repair treatment.
- use bust your brass repair mask 1x per week in place of conditioner.
If you notice pesky brassiness pop up, use the bust your brass system every wash until desired tone is reached.
- keep track of your tone: if you're loving your tone, keep up your routine as is. if you notice brassiness peeking in, increase use the bust your brass mask an additional time per week. if you are a little too cool-toned and nearing a violet tone, cut back on the bust your brass routine for a week or two.
If you have highlights, a balayage, or natural-looking (colour-treated) blonde hair:
- use bust your brass shampoo + conditioner every other wash.
- assess hair's tone and pivot (increase or decrease usage) as needed.
- those with naturally dark hair should use the bust your brass intense repair mask 1x per week in place of conditioner.
- please note: naturally darker or brunette hair will fight to return to natural hair colour; in this case, increase the usage of system.
If you have gray hair:

If you are a textured blonde:

nourishing and hydrate purple hair mask
finally a purple hair mask that nourishes and hydrates that hair whilst toning down the brass/yellow. very pleased with this product.

Soft, shiny and blonde!

Good hair mask
I haven’t been using it for that long however love the smell and definitely helps with toning down “yellow blond”.. I like the brand as I am usijg other hair products and they have never disappointed

Good so far
I like how this mask is easy to add to my routine and it doesn't stain my skin like others I have used. I haven't used it weekly as recommended yet but my hair felt very soft after just the first use and my colour less brassy. Overall happy with this one

Best toning mask I’ve tried
This mask gives enough toning effects in a short amount of time and as it also doubles up as a hair mask I’m inclined to leave it on the hair for as long as it needs so it has time to make the desired effect.

This is nice but there's definitely better de brassing masks out there. The Christophe Robin one, for instance.

Excellent product
This does what it says but I would advise to leave it in longer than the instructions say. I love that you don’t use it on wet hair so there’s less mess in the bathroom.
