I would say this is the ideal middle of winter cream when your skin is at its worst- dry, dull, pasty and irritated by the weather and central heating at home or simply from over doing it with the actives . I have combination skin so it isn’t usually too dry. But I do have problems with irritation and sensitivity. I try many skincare products and this will inevitably now and then leave me with extreme irritation. I over did it with a retinol eye cream recently and this cream has been a dream. Anything other than the most basic skincare (and even some of that ) has stung my skin like mad. My whole face was just dull and red, blotchy and under eye area was so stingy and uncomfortable. I’ll be honest- this is a heavy rich cream and i am not into creams like that. But this is the exception it’s really a beautiful product. No fragrance which would just make irritation and stinging worse. It glides on beautifully I experience no white pastiness or difficulty blending in. Some creams go on thick and white and take forever to blend out the whiteness- not this. Very easy and quick to apply and instant soothing. 

I’ve only used this once having received a free sample however am very impressed so far. I was suffering from an unpleasant reaction to vitamin C and had been piling on different hydrating products. I tried this and it immediately significantly improved the dryness and flaking and I was genuinely amazed. This is an expensive product but i would recommend it if you are in need of a seriously hydrating cream. 

I absolutely love this, as I've got older, my skin has gone from really greasy to dryer but at 54 I still suffer from acne rosacea unless my skin is looked after. Going into winter I feel confident that this will help my skin no end. It really moisturisers well and plumps my skin and together with the eye cream which for me is just the best I've ever tried, I've finally found my holy grail moisturisers. My skin is plumped, toned and even.
