Out of this world
5I usually find palettes so underwhelming. I hovered over this for a bit. I then saw a few makeup bods that I respect saying good things and thought oh go on then. Amazing They blend beautifully and the fill is huge! You get a lot for your money and the quality is fantastic.

Hmmm..
3I love Jamie but I’m a little disappointed in this palette. When I first received, the pan for shade ‘Glimmer’ fell out of the palette which I’ve seen many others have the same problem with. The matte shades are beautiful but the shimmers are not very good. I can’t get the shimmers to stick to my eye at all!! Have to go in with tons of spray to even get a little sparkle. The shimmers are so chunky they fall out off the pan and get on your face when applying. Hoped for more.

3It's fine, but nothing special. The mattes are nice, but again, nothing you can't get elsewhere for cheaper. The shimmers are so crumbly, they don't stick to my eyes no matter how I apply them (I've tried with my fingers, with a brush, and with a damp brush). The lightest shimmer is nice though. Overall, kind of disappointed but I guess it is just the first launch, hopefully, they'll fix the shimmer shadow formula because it is so difficult to work with. Not really worth the money, unfortunately.

Vieve Eyeshadow Palette
3Love Jamie and what she does! Like the lipstick and liner, also like the eyeshadows, nice colours and lots of pigment. Unfortunately, 4 of the eyeshadows fell out when this was opened which was not great due to this being a present! Had to stick them back in with superglue carefully so as not to crack or disturb the powder. A little embarrassing and not great considering the price. A bit disappointed.

Underwhelmed
2This is a regretted purchase for me. I’m not familiar with the influencer behind the brand and just picked this up on a whim without doing my usual thorough research before making purchases online... the quality simply isn’t there for me and doesn’t justify the price, from the patchy mattes that I can’t get to blend to the shimmer shades that don’t have any colour pay off and are more like chunky glitter toppers than shadow (and with a lot of subsequent fallout), to the cardboard packaging with a ‘pleather’ exterior... I’m struggling to find anything I like about this palette besides the large mirror on the interior. The colour story is practically the same as ABH Modern Renaissance/Soft Glam, both of which I would recommend over this palette.

Doesn’t work for me
1This isn’t a good palette for me. The metallic shades fall down my face, even with a glitter glue base, and the mattes are really chalky and too powdery. There’s a lot of pigment that falls on my face whenever I use and no matter what brush I use, I don’t get an even blend. I’ve tested a lot since this arrived and I just can’t get it to work. I don’t have this problem with other brands and from the reviews, it seems to be an anomaly. Unfortunately, it was a waste of money for me.

A Black Girl friendly essential palette
5This palette is simply fantastic. Literally, I was so impressed when I got mine in the mail. The shades look beautiful on brown skin without any horrid greyness or ashiness. I am so impressed at the fact that Jamie Genevieve was able to create something that took ALL women into consideration, (from all races and ethnicities) because it should be the norm, and she's proven that it's doable if you care enough to. Well done girl and thank you!

The best eyeshadow Palette EVER!
5OK, so I've been a makeup artist since 2001. I've used many, many eyeshadow palettes and pigments throughout the years. No matter how much Primer I use (on my self) my lids ALWAYS crease and the eyeshadow loses it's pigment. This Palette is HUGE and the pans are also HUGE. You only need a tiny amount on your brush and the pigments blend beautifully. No fallout. The shimmers are very intense and there is no need to use a Concealer to do a cut crease or spotlight eye. This is a beauty MUST HAVE!

Amazing
5Really is the essential palette! Pan size is impressive compared to most palettes I own and the amount of looks I've created already is amazing. Will definitely be trying the rest of the range. Highly recommend!!
