Not the best retinal serum
2I’ve not tried many retinal serums. I love the ordinary products so thought I’d give this a try. I didn’t like how oily this is as I have an oily tzone and it makes me look greasy and the product takes hours to absorb into my skin. Maybe someone with dry skin would love this but I would rather try another retinal product the next time.

5I tried the 0.5 % strength and really liked it so have now purchased the 1%. These are great value and haven’t irritated my skin so farÂ

Effective
5I started with the 0.5% retinol serum which wasn’t enough for my oily skin. This, used every day, is honestly the only thing I have ever used that has actually made a difference, my skin looks smoother and complexion is improved. Also it’s quite thick and doesn’t fully sink into the skin - so to make sure it doesn’t rub off onto my pillow at night I put this on in the evening so it has a few hours to sink into my skin before going to bed.

5Really nice feeling formula, kinda hydrating too. Saw other reviews say that initially dried out their skin etc but I didn't get any negative reactions. In my early twenties so I don’t really have fine lines so I don’t if it helps with that.

5I love this product, this is my second bottle. So hydrating and not irritating at all. Saw improvement in pigmentation and fine lines. Highly recommend.Â

A very effective resurfacing treatment
5This is a powerful product. I only use it once a week as it makes my skin flakey, but that's what I want. Good exfoliation and a decent moisturiser and I'm left with visibly brighter, smoother skin. Great price too.
