Bye-bye closed comedones!
5I have been suffering from fungal acne/closed comedones for the last year and NOTHING would clear it no matter how much money I spent or what I tried. After taking it upon myself to do a great deal of research surrounding how I could clear it, I have managed to stumble across a routine that works for me and my dry/dehydrated skin. It has now been about a month and about 85% of the bumps under my skin have gone. I use the Avene Extremely Gentle Cleansing Lotion to cleanse (with Bioderma as a first cleanse if I've worn make up). To tone I spray my face with the La Roche Posay thermal water and then sometimes top this with the Heritage Store rosewater for additional hydration. I use the La Roche Posay vitamin C serum (morning) and La Roche Posay Hyalu + B5 serum (night) and then use The Ordinary 0.5% Retinol in Squalane every other night, Neutrogena Hydroboost gel cream to moisturise and seal everything in with this 100% Squalane. SPF is used every morning too (Glossier). Since following this routine, my skin texture has completely changed and the squalane really adds that vital layer of moisturise. I thought that it might break me out because the fungal acne usually gets worse when any oil is applied. This isn't the case though. I'm actually so happy with the progress and I don't wear make up 95% of the time these days. I will definitely repurchase this product when it runs out - great price too! :)

Lovely for dry skin
5You would think this would leave your skin all greasy, but it really doesn't. It sinks into the skin and leaves it soft and smooth. I have very dry, sensitive skin and I have seen a huge improvement since I'd started using this morning and evening. Definitely going to buy it again!

5I’ve been using this in my routine for the past couple of weeks and it’s made a huge difference with the condition of my skin. Instead of waking up to dry flakes in areas, my skin looks plump, smooth and just overall happy! I only wear this when I’m not wearing makeup due to it being far to heavy of a base for me to cope with but other than that a stunning product!

Squalane oil
5I’ve been using this product along with the squalane cleanser for 2 weeks now and it is AMAZING! I specifically got them due to having lots of tiny colourless spots on my forehead (I believe it’s called fungal acne) along with large pores and I wanted to see if it would get rid of them - it has changed my skin for the better. If only I could post a before and after photo on this because it really does work! I have extremely dry skin on my forehead and these 2 products have fixed that problem, as well as reduced the amount of bumps and shrank my pores. I will continue using this and hopefully, it will completely get rid of all the bumps on my skin

5Absolutely in love with this product! My skin is so glowy all the time! Been using it for over a month now followed by the Natural Moisturising Factors moisturiser and my skin looks so much fuller and healthier than before.

Lovely product
5I really enjoy using this product, it’s great for hydrating the skin without feeling greasy or too heavy. I’m acne prone and this doesn’t break me out. I much prefer it to The Ordinary’s Rose Hip Oil and at this price would repurchase.

100% Plant Derived Squalane by The Ordinary
1It’s not okay that they say it’s for all skin types. I have very oily skin and they pretty much said it would be good on oily skin too. It wasn’t! It felt heavy and it just made my skin even oilier and my acne worse. Disgraceful.

No. 1 The Ordinary Hydrator!!
5This is a little bit of magic in a bottle, I have occasional stubborn dry skin on my forehead and a little bit of this gives the skin a much needed hydration boost. I now use this twice daily mixed in with a serum from a separate brand and find it works a dream. Again, the price is unbeatable, the serum I use it with is £40+ (Drunk Elephant) and I must say the star ingredient of the combo is definitely this product for a fraction of the price!!
