Mixed feelings
3I’ve been using this product 3 times a week for about 1 - 2 months alongside with Vit C (which by the way smells amazing!) For the first few weeks my skin looks a lot more glowy and plumper but unfortunately I now have an acne breakout on my chin and jaw. It’s pretty bad. Worst breakout I’ve had since a teenager lol I’ve researched it and it seems this can be quite common with retinol - almost like a purge! So I’m going to carry on and see if I come out the other side  … fingers crossed!

4I'm on my first tube of Crystal Retinal 1, and I have mixed feelings about it so far. Look. I'm 70 years old, and my wrinkles run DEEP, especially those on my upper lip .. so although I need nothing short of a miracle, I know that it's probably not going to happen. .. and so far it hasn't! Somehow, the lip lines don't seem to matter so much anymore because this cream has worked wonders on the OVERALL appearance of my skin. Fine lines are definitely reduced, my face is tauter.. and my skin is actually glowing!! So I'm going to buy a second tube, and I'll keep you posted about any improvement on the lip lines. Fingers crossed!

Gentle but effective
5I started on Kedik8 CR1 as my skin can get quite sensitive. I have been able to use this every other night with no issues at all. Only on week 3 and family are already commenting on the improvement in my skin! Lovely to use and pleasant smell.

Gentle and not irritating
5I was looking for few months a product with retinal as I've never used it before and heard only good stuff about Medik8. I am 30 so it's perfect time to start adding retinal to my routine. As I have perioral dermatitis I was avoiding putting retinal around my beard and chin to avoid irritations. This product is working amazingly for me,my skin looks more fresh and shinny. It is very gentle and I didn't have any irritations at all. Can't wait to purchase Crystal Retinal 3.

Pretty good!
4This is the first retinol product I’ve used and it’s not dried out my skin at all. I gradually introduced it to my routine as directed & have seen some difference but not anything dramatic. I’ve purchased Crystal 3 to see if that has any stronger effect.

Medik8 Crystal Retinal 1
5I’ve tried a few different retinals before and hadn’t ever found one this suited my skin type. I started using this once every 3 days and ‘sandwiched’ between two layers of my usual moisturiser and I noticed a difference in my skin almost immediately! It hasn’t caused any inflammation and really helped keep my breakouts at bay. I would definitely recommend this to someone looking to try something new, it is pricey but considering you only need a pea sized amount it should last a while!

The holy grail of retinals
5I’d seen the buzz about this product and it’s stronger siblings on Instagram for months. It’s a little pricy compared to my typical drugstore buys but I went for it, I wanted to start my retinol journey with the right product. My main concerns were actually acne and acne scarring. This product (and older siblings) claims so be one of the only retinals to fight acne causing bacteria and of course retinal helps to regenerate your cells so I assumed it may help with scarring too? Anyway, I’ve been using this for a couple of months now and I love it. I use it Monday, Wednesday and Friday as on other days I may use AHA/BHA, Vitamin C or have a ‘rest day’ and use hydrating, nourishing products and no actives. I’ve found my skin has taken so well to it and I saw immediate results, my acne on my chin and underneath it has been so calm since using this product, I really feel it was the retinal that had an impact. I would 100% recommend this product and would very much like to move onto the Crystal Retinal 3 once I’ve used up my two tubes of number 1, since the brilliant offer of spending £50 or more on Medik8 was on, I got a few number 1, amazing.

2Probably it's a very good product but it's not suitable for sensitive skin. I have dermatitis and my nose turned all red and inflamed. For me it was a disaster.
