Petale do rose and Fraise bonbon
2The formula is very inconsistent. Petale do rose is a beautiful colour and very pigmented, but it looks extremely dry and accentuates lip lines a lot. Just looks really bad. Fraise Bonbon is gorgeous and the formula doesn't look dry, but it is streaky.

Not all it's cracked up to be
2I ordered the shade Fraise-Bonbon because it looked so beautiful online. I wasn't expecting it to be so sheer/patchy. Maybe I'm not an expert but I'm 100% positive 1 layer of this won't get the look you're going for. Now, I know that these kinds of colours can be tricky, but similar shades in Colour pop, Kat Von D and The Balm all deliver that sort of colour in one layer (which, in my opinion, is what I expect from a liquid lipstick). Moreover, the colour pulled more pink than it did red, so I was a little disappointed with that too. I haven't tried any of the other colours (I do intend on doing so), but I definitely won't be repurchasing this one. In the meantime, I'll try to find a way to make it work.

The search is over
5I love matte liquid lipsticks and have been using NYX Suede in Sandstorm for a while, which does a decent job, but has been blown out of the water by this fab little Jouer number. I bought this in Noisette - from the picture I was slightly worried that it might be a little bit too dark for me, but no - it comes out in a lovely shade that is on the more nude side of brown. It goes on beautifully - really smooth and doesn't dry down so fast that you can't adjust it. And it smells gorgeous! I put on one application this morning at 8:30 and at 6:00pm, it's virtually all still there. There's a slight bit of wear, but I can definitely still see it - I've drunk coffee and eaten lunch and this lipstick has withstood it all and isn't too drying (slight dryness, but it's not uncomfortable). The holy grail of lipstick as far as I'm concerned. I would definitely recommend this one and will probably get it in a few more colours.

Awful
2The product is patchy, and it looks awful on. Its not wearable in the least. The colours (I bought a few so it wasn't a fluke) look good swatched but thats about it. This was a major purchase regret.

Definitely a long wearing lipstick
5I've seen a lot of review that complain that these lipsticks aren't long wearing and come off after 2 hours, I wear Jouer liquid lipstick most days and only ever have re-apply once after lunch at the most. That's as good as it gets. They're extremely light weight and feel like you're not even wearing anything which is brilliant.

Hit or miss...
4I own Melon and Petale de Rose. Melon settles into the lines on your lips, which is annoying, but fixable with a little patience. The darker shades don't seem to have this issue. Otherwise, very nice.

Papaye
4I hated it at first because it accentuates lip lines and I thought it doesn't dry down when I first tried it on. The shade looks like pale gold and ridiculous on me. I played around with it the next day and gave it another go. This time, I applied just a thin layer on top of my bold tinted lips. It gives a gorgeous shine and duo chrome shift. I gave it more time to dry and went out for a noodle soup. No transfer on napkin when I wiped my mouth, I thought it all went to the soup, but I was shook when I looked into the mirror. I could barely see any fading and no flicking at all. I am very impressed by its staying power but still, one star off because it accentuate my lip lines quite badly and become very drying in a couple hours. I could fix that with Jouer lip topper, but that would defeat the longevity. Overall, decent product with excellent customer service from CB.

Disappointing
2Thought this was answer to a prayer so bought it with the lip topper. Both a waste of time. Certainly not long wearing and colour on lips a lot lighter and thinner than in tube. ££ down the drain.

Great Color, but...
2I've got the Fraise Bonbon one, it's a very beautiful red colour but after only a few minutes my lips start to feel dry and if I rub them together (force of habit) the product peels off. I'm not sure if it's only me or not, though...

Love, sort of
4I really like the look and application of this product. It stays well and performs nicely. But, the smell is awful. I don't know what it is, and I am not normally bothered by scents, something sweet but chemically. I nearly gagged. It disperses, and I can bear through until then, but honestly? Not getting another one. Can't they use the same scent as the gloss? That's nice.
